Play Poker and Blackjack in Minecraft!
This is a plugin that allows you to play sleek, automated card games, in Minecraft. It is an extremely easy to use plugin, and very convenient for users. It includes some cunning features, such as on-screen GUI (without any additional client mods or spout!), extensive configuration and customization, and more. It currently has support for Texas Hold'em Poker and Blackjack.
The only requirements for this plugin are:
- Vault
- An economy system supported by Vault, doesn't matter which. Tested on iConomy 6.

This plugin sends anonymous usage data (such as amount of players currently on your server) to http://mcstats.org/plugin/UltimateCards. No server can be identified, usage reports are fully anonymous. You can opt-out in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml on your server directory (set opt-out to true).
An auto-update feature also exists. If you do not wish for the plugin to check for and automatically download updates, you can opt-out in plugins/UltimateCards/config.yml on your server directory (set autoUpdate to false).

I had this plugin in my previous 1.7.10 server and I LOVED IT! me and my friend played for hours the black jack and poker! maybe you can add slot machines or other cool games! You do an amazing job and i thank you for spending your time on this amazing plugin!

UC itself looks awesome, but never been able to get it going properly. Permissions aren't working.

Spigot works just fine, in general, in case you do want to update it.
The last time I tried to use UC I still couldn't get permissions working, but it's been a while.

Damn, sounds pretty brutal.
Unfortunately I haven't been maintaining this plugin for some time, and I haven't even kept up with the Minecraft scene for well over 2 years and thus I wouldn't even know if Bukkit is still something that people use, or have they moved on to alternative server mods.
The plugin requires a massive re-write, but I am a little too busy currently to work on it. If you could show me the error I could possibly take a look. Other than that, is the plugin still playable, having not been updated for so long?

Yes, I had the same problems, but you must give the permissions: - ucards.poker - ucards.cards.leave - ucards.cards.join - ucards.cards.sit - ucards.table.join - ucards.table.leave For the leave command, the cards._ permission suffices, but for the join/sit command you also need the table._ permission! Only the table._ permission is for the two commands not enough!!! You need the cards._ permission (actually the same).

I agree with this guy, if it allows item based with custom names on the item I would gladly use this, however as it stands I can't use it unless it allows that as my item has tokens named "Shop Token" you don't find money, you find physical currency...

Very cool plugin! However, I would strongly prefer betting emeralds (item based currency) rather than virtual money in vault. Would it be possible to make it configurable wheter you want item based or vault based economy? That way this plugin can easier adapt to different servers economy systems, such as mine. I would love to use it and let players bet money, but I want to do it in an itembased way. Bringing a stack of emeralds to the table... I hope you'll consider adding this!

I'm having a lot of issues doing perms for your plugin. Being OP makes it all work quite easily, but putting the perms in for players, that's another story.
I own a secondary account, for testing purposes, and I treat it like a standard player account. Join/Sit doesn't want to work, as well as most standard commands .... even listing the tables doesn't work. Is there a way we could have a page where all the perms are clearly listed, and how to make the perm ladder for it ?

This plugin is awesome but permissions seem to be broken using either pex or groupmanager on spigot 1.8 as even though the leave and join perms are added they do not seem to function at all...
Is there any update for this or can someone provide me with a working example of perms set up?

That's unfortunate to hear. UltimateCards is a wonderful concept and a fun feature when it works. Nothing else like it exists. It just needs a little bit of polishing around the edges to be bug free and stable for production servers.
If you do happen to find the time to work on some issues or plan to rewrite core functions, I'll be more than happy to help debug and test. Otherwise if your schedule does not permit you to continue development, I'll have to unfortunately abandon UltimateCards on my community server - as it is not completely stable for active servers. :(

I'm currently extremely busy studying for my final exams, so as of right now, any development is on hold. As soon as I get some free time, I'll fix all the bugs people have reported since the last update.
I'm sorry to be very sluggish with this, but as much as I'd like to be a more active developer, my life does not currently allow me to do so. I'm also a bit demotivated seeing as this plugin is a mess and I don't want to spend huge amount of time fixing the countless bugs that lie in my 3-year-old spaghetti code for free. If another *good* developer stepped up and was happy to take over, I would also consider it.

The command is /table sit [table id] [buyin], not /table sit [table name] [buyin]
