Typo Corrector
Sometimes, typos happen. You try and try to have the best typing and spelling on your server, and you try to be professional, but then you'll be at peak times, trying to answer everyone's questions, and a typo or two will just slip out. It's okay. Typo Corrector is here to help.
How it works
Typo Corrector fetches a list of common typos and misspellings from here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Lists_of_common_misspellings/For_machines
It stores these locally, and whenever a player chats, it replaces any typos with the correct spelling, maintaining capitalization and keeping you professional in chat.
Permissions
"typo.correct" - Players with this permission will have typos corrected. Players without will not have their chat modified.

Posted Feb 18, 2013I just came across a server running this and it actually is a bit irritating how chat takes like 300ms to complete, making the server appear very laggy. The idea is good but iterating that giant list on every chat is simply a hefty task and will lag most servers chat.

Posted Aug 19, 2012Very nice plugin, As the owner of a large server I eventually make a typo while answering a million questions a minute. Combined with my naturally bad spelling this plugin will be a very welcome addition to my server. Keep up the good work!

Auto-correct in Firefox assumes that you can look at the corrections it does. The list I have is the least invasive, and it won't make you look like and idiot. (Have you seen iPhone autocorrect images?)
The goal wasn't to fix every typo, or to help people with absolutely horrible spelling. It's to help admins who type fast and always make the most common mistakes in the book.

I'm not being negative... You know it could be improved. Maybe use different lists of words, that you could maybe get from some auto corrector(maybe Firefox's).
