TourGuide
What is TourGuide?
The best way to find a good server is to look at the creations players have made on it. Unfortunately these can be spaced out all over the map and a new player may not see them. TourGuide allows a player to join a tour group and view all the sights of your server. You set the locations and TourGuide can do the rest. TourGuide also allows you to be the guide of a tour, after all, no one knows your server better than you!
Features
- Admin Defined POIs
- Player can guide a tour, otherwise it is done automatically
- NPCs as Guides
- SQLite and MySQL to store POIs
Coming Soon
- Spout Support and Features
- Tutorial Video
- TourGuide Site to share the sights of your server with the world!

Good!
Just a quick update. This plugin has not been abandoned. I've been busy with exams, sorting out a placement and other projects. I have been working on all the new suggested features and hope to get an update out soon.
Thank you for your patience.
@thekris1234
Hmm yeah that would be good and then have another flatfile where you give the order of the poi's and that would allow for multiple types of tours :)
so.... Tourguide/ Tour1.yml contains something like POI order: bakery Blacksmith Library then a folder for poi's POI/ Bakery.yml Blacksmith.yml Library.yml
@vivalaminecraft
Would you prefer a flatfile setup where each POI has it's own section with configuration nodes?
@thekris1234
I would really try to move away from storing it all in the sqlite database or a mysql database...it becomes to hard to edit etc
@vivalaminecraft
That right there is an awesome set of features. I shall work on these and see if I can get an update out soon.
http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/tour-guide.134448/ I am requesting a better version of this, or you could improve it :)
It's buggy and doesn't work 100% right atm but it's the idea I'd like...though I'd prefer if it could have way points for a tour guide to walk....which includes opening doors. Along with way points it should be able to teleport all the people in the tour after it completes the way points or a timer...
Rather than people voting for the next point of interest it has a timer. e.g. tp's to poi walks through a door says this is blablabla walks downstairs this is blablabla says have a look around waits 30 seconds, we are leaving in 5 seconds tp's to next poi....etc
Also multiple tour guides possible. Not just 1.
Also if it could give people stuff when they join the tour....also if the tour could cost money (each tour being able to have a different cost) I'm sure a lot of people would like this...I'm willing to donate $20-$50 to whomever gets this right.
Well done! Awesome work....best thing you could do is make it possible for multiple guides...doing different tours :)

I keep getting POI has been added but is not active. Is something obstructing the spawn area? How do i fix this? It works in some places?
There will be a video tutorial coming soon. I'm currently working on something else related to this plugin at the moment. But they'll both be ready soon.
@SpeedyBoy235
Yeah, noticed that the other day. Just haven't got around to swapping out the image
The plural of any word adds a simple "s". Adding " 's " makes it possessive. This is my biggest pet peeve.
@jazzman170
I'll work on one towards the end of this week
any video? I would test this is there was a video showing how it works ^_^ May help gain more traffic.
@Pixiyo
The full release will be soon but it definitely needs testing first. I've done as much as I can but I can't test all environments.
When will this be done?
