SuperSimpleSpawners
This is a very simple plugin.
- It enables you to use spawn eggs to place spawners of the same type.
- It enables spawners to drop spawn eggs of the same type when broken.
Permissions:
Spawners drop eggs (permission: sss.drop.*)
Eggs place spawners (permission: sss.place.*)
Both (permission: sss.*)
Specific drop (permission: sss.drop.entity_type)
Specific place (permission: sss.place.entity_type)
The names for entity_type must be the LOWERCASE form of how they appear here: http://jd.bukkit.org/apidocs/org/bukkit/entity/EntityType.html
Require Silk Touch enchant: (permission: sss.silk_touch)
WITHOUT THESE PERMISSIONS IT WILL BEHAVE NORMALLY EVEN IF YOU'RE OP OR HAVE '*'
If you don't have a SuperPerms manager click below because you need one unless you know you don't.

Posted May 4, 2014Hello, I was curious if there was a way to have this plugin working in tandem with the plugin Eggcatcher (basically it lets you catch spawn eggs with chicken eggs). I was wondering IF there was a way to change how this plugin uses spawn eggs as spawners and have actual spawners so that both this plugin and the eggcatcher plugin could work together without any issues.

Posted Mar 21, 2013Hmm, i cant update to latest but have the second one out, as im using 1.2.5. But im using pex used the individual perms like toxxicjtag said but i get that dc when a spawner is mined lol. just live with it since i cant update then?

Posted Mar 16, 2013Hmm odd, i use Pex for perms, when i use sss.* doesnt work so thats fine, when i use the 2 individual perms sss.drop.* and sss.place* when players break the spawner the egg drops but the get an internal server error boot from the server, they can log back in and pick up egg and lay it down fine. but soon as they bust one disconnect but egg drops again.

Posted Mar 15, 2013ive tried the latest version, i like how tnt drops spawners but the drop % is 100% which i think shouldnt be so could you please add a configurable drop% ? or else people can just use tnt to drop the spawners instead of using a pick or w/e perms

Posted Jan 1, 2013@dumbtruckman I have put the sss.* commands into pex but it doesn't place a spawner, it places one mob of the egg I have chose. Is there a fix or did I do something wrong?

Actually, they only are required to have silk touch enchant if they have access to the
permission. By default no one should have access to this, ever. You must grant them access to it. However, many permission plugins allow you to use the
*permission which completely invalidates the general rule of Bukkit permissions and grants them this permission anyway. In these cases it is necessary to remove access to this permission manually.

Sorry for the late response, but give them the permission sss.drop.* to make it so they don't need silk touch.

I sent in another pull request to the author, if he accepts it, it will be updated to 1.4.6. It will also have a new config system where you can choose whether or not explosions that destroy the spawners will drop the egg.
