SmallTalk

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

SmallTalk is an amazing new plugin that allows you to chat with an artificially intelligent bot. You can talk to the bot in plain english, and it'll respond accordingly! This bot aims to imitate the extremely popular Siri with both small talk (How are you?) and questions with dynamic variables (Where am I?)

To begin talking to a bot, type /smalltalk. From then on, everything you say will be sent to the bot, not everyone on the server. To stop talking to the bot, type /smalltalk again.

/what the others are attempting to explain about "Bot Learning" is fairly simple, If you google Cleverbot, (Artificially Intelligent Bot which responsds accordingly in plain english) you'll see what I mean, It learns from what you say and how to respond to it. Heres an Idea of what I mean. Player A says to smalltalk, Hey How are you doing? Smalltalk says to player A Good and you? Player A says Why I'm fine good sir.

Now that smalltalk has learned this response, lets see this in action Smalltalk says to player B Hey How are you doing? Player B says Good and you? Smalltalk will respond, Why I'm fine good sir.

Good idea, except that the way SmallTalk is coded would make the bot respond at random times. It's easier to type /smalltalk when you want to chat with the bot so I can make sure that you really want to talk to the bot :)

Great idea! but maybe you could have an option to turn off the need to type /smalltalk for the bot to respond

Turns out McMMO doesn't have an API. I'll work on adding Towny support. I added Factions and Vault integration in version 1.1, and I'm working on adding more (So far, I know I'm gonna add WorldGuard and Towny and more)

Ok i'll work on that. I can add Towny things like "What town do I belong to?" and McMMO "What level am i for farming?". I could also hook into Vault for groups and money. As far as custom messages, I don't know how to do that, but whatever ideas you give me WILL be added the the plugin :)

Add tie ins to popular plugins like MCMMO or Towny. Ad custom triggers/messages like Vitals' Helperbot.
