SkyWars - Battle against players in a sky environment

Schematic creation

  • 1) Build your map
  • 2) Place a BEACON block to define a spawn point (somewhere above the island, the glass box will be created automatically)
  • 3) Make a schematic out of it with WorldEdit
  • 4) Place schematic in the plugins/SkyWars/schematics directory (format: name.schematic)


  • Download SkyWars.jar and put it in your plugins/ directory
  • Place your schematics in the plugins/SkyWars/schematics directory
  • Set the lobby with /sw setlobby
  • Place stone pressure plate in the lobby world for players to join a game

  • A permissions plugin compatible with Vault

/swN/AMain command, will list all available commands
/sw startskywars.command.startStarts a SkyWars game
/sw leaveN/ARemoves you from the game you're currently in

/sw reloadskywars.command.reloadReloads the chests, kits and the plugin.yml

This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to

  • A unique identifier
  • The server's version of Java
  • Whether the server is in offline or online mode
  • The plugin's version
  • The server's version
  • The OS version/name and architecture
  • The core count for the CPU
  • The number of players online
  • The Metrics version

Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

    Hi !

    I have a map that is always named "island-0"
    i tried to rename it with MultiVerse, it's ok, but after server reboot, old name come back

    is there a solution to have this map always have the name i want ???

    Hi :D the plugin work perfect ! but can you add something to it ? I am using the commands alias to write /hub = /sw leave but the plugin won't let me do it ! so can you add this , or just allow this command /hub ? :D waiting for answer :D

    I'm even trying Wicked SkyWars which is the continue to this plugin. Still doesn't work. What skywars plugin would you recommend?

    It happens to me too. I think the plugin doesn't work now... :S


    I currently work on:

    My schematic's aren't working. I have made my own maps and I have put beacons down on every island (except middle one) so it should be working fine. I renamed the maps though, is that why it doesn't work? When I downloaded someone else's map and left it how it was, it worked fine so maybe renaming it was the problem? It says 'Unable to determine schematic format' for all of my 5 maps. Also, do I have to add in the schematic maps on the config.yml file or is it meant to do it itself? Thanks.

    ATTENTION EVERYONE This plugin still functions in 1.7.9, but it is abandoned and will not receive any further updates. The project has been continued as Wicked SkyWars

    Although the project is on Spigot, it works fine with Bukkit.

    you could send me some support craftbukkit build with 1.5.2, because I love this plugin but it does not work on craftbukkit 1.5.2, and if you had any solution to my problem would be very grateful
