Bye, Bukkit...

I am very sorry to announce that the developement of my Plugin is on hold for an undefined amount of time. The reason I am taking this step is the recent copyright-claim due to which Bukkit is no longer available. I am every sad that it has come this way but until Bukkit is available again, I will no longer develop my Plugin. Minecraft is not what is was until now without Bukkit! Without Bukkit, Minecraft will die and everyone, who layed their heart and soul into their Bukkit-Servers will no longer habe fun without it!

What it does

This plugin is a reporting-system. It allows your users to report anything from griefing to server-problems. It also allows to manage the reports easily either in an yml-file or even on an SQL-Server for Multi-Server-Use!

This plugin came to me as an idea when I talked with the other admin of our server that there are frequently problems on our server but there isn't always an admin online to help with them. So we installed a report-plugin but the problem with it was, that we are running a Bugee-Cord-Server and the reports on the one server don't show up on the others. This is where my plugin comes in. If you configure the plugin on all servers to use SQL and enter the same server, you will have all reports on all servers! I made it as easy to use as possible. The config is very short and is explained here. For the users it is especially easy-to-use, as they simply enter /report [text] to report something. The plugin stores the reports with the Player, who issued it, his coordinates and world so you can teleport to where the report was created even with multiple worlds running. Unfortunately, it is not possible to teleport across servers, but this will be implemented later. My plugin is completely compatible with the new UUID-System coming in 1.8 and supports name-changes so your server is safe! Please note: The UUID-Conversion will set up a connection to the Mojang-Servers in order for the plugin to also get valid UUIDs on Bungeecord-servers. I have to use this method because otherwise the UUIDs are randomly generated on the bugeecord-servers running in Offline-mode.

Plugin Metrics

This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
  • A unique identifier
  • The server's version of Java
  • Whether the server is in offline or online mode
  • The plugin's version
  • The server's version
  • The OS version/name and architecture
  • The core count for the CPU
  • The number of players online
  • The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.
