RPGLeveling

The new and improved leveling system for all RPG fans!
Installation
1. Download the latest .jar and place it in your /plugins folder.
2. Start your server.
3. Let the files generate.
4. Stop server, Edit classes.yml and config.yml in the /plugins/rpgleveling folder
4.5. Make sure you read the guide
5. Once you are happy, start your server
6. Start server and enjoy!
Features
- MYSQL ONLY Bullet proof against server crashes. If your server crashes, all data is stored to mysql.
- Blocks items from being used until the required level.
- Blocks any defined items to make it exclusive to one class.
- Make your own classes with different configurations, exp gains and item unlocking
- Exp and level on players' EXP bar
- Give money/permissions/constant potion effects, item permissions. real levels to use on anvil, or etc when leveling up!
- Execute commands as console, player, or op
- 1.6 and 1.7 supported, Bukkit and MCPC+/Cauldron

- If you want a better health system where you can control all the players health and even give players more then 20 hearts, then check out MoreHearts!
To Do List
- Comment if you want new features
- Chat prefix to show levels.
- Block player without classes from playing (it'll be configurable, if you don't want it)

Posted Mar 5, 2019Hey when I do /class name I just have errors when the classes is well configured and the mysql link works the rpgplayers table is created well but an error with the /class name do you have an idea?

I'm glad to see that you are still updating this plugin :D!
Will you be able to add an option to use username in the database, instead of UUID? Also, sadly, for some reason, the /rpg exp # command does not work. It only shows the current exp. Also, players need rpglevel.manager permission to use /rpg exp to check their own exp.

Hey rfsantos1996, I actually add an update for this but with the fall of bukkit, I've been waiting to see what happens. However as I pm'd you before, I am in the progress of porting the mod over to Forge. Its been slow but I am trying to keep it as configurable as this with faster speeds.

Posted Jan 20, 2015Sorry guys, I'm not coding tor Minecraft for some time now, and Jerry was keeping this updated (or at least he was answering the comment section)...
I'm doing my own stuff now and I don't have much time to update this and I can't even test anymore... If I would update this, I would probably rewrite the entire plugin (after some experience I notice that my plugin is bad coded and I can't just update it u.u)
Well, I cant update it now, try contacting Jerry or asking TheWolfBadger (since he did the RPGParties plugin)

I just have internal errors when using your plugin v0.8!
I use /class classname command, and it is not working, just error in the console!
This is a very epic plugin, but i need it be fixed ^^

Posted Oct 19, 2014Hi, I'm having an issue. My class name is Human. (that's the only class) Whenever I type /class Human it just spits back out Use /class (name/list/exit) This goes for when I use /rpg as well. Essentially, I can't use any commands Let me know what I'm doing wrong, thanks.
EDIT: FIXED, using 1.7.2 now. Dont know why that works

Posted Aug 28, 2014hey can word on the block player without class update? also i have a suggestion when you block an item and someone buys it from a shop it should drop as soon as they buy it because when you block items like armor they can still use it

In the classes.yml look for levelingEquation: 100*(1.16^(%level-1)) you can change it to the 100 which is the total for the first level and the 1.16 to lower or raise the added on gain to level up to the next level. So 100*(1^(%level-1)) would mean you need 100 experience points per level.
