Quantum Teleport Gates
Quantum Teleport Gates is a plugin which is lightweight and can be used a alternative to MVP. Quantum Teleport Gates works with Vault! You can easily create portals between two locations or worlds!
Quantum Teleport Gates allows you to set two positions, and if your player walks between them it will teleport the player to the set destination! This allows you to have smoother teleporting between areas, so your players do not need to use either signs or commands to get around the place of your choosing. All the player has to do is walk in!
The portal can be made between any blocks of your choosing! The selection system works similar to WorldEdit, you just turn the selector on (/portalsel) and right/left click to select two positions!
Supports Vault, so you can charge when a player enters a portal! (Optional) Supports Essentials, so you can set your portal's destination to a Essentials Warp!
Basic Commands:
/quantumportals - Shows version and other info.
/portalsel - Portal selector, let and right click on each block to select
/portals - List all commands
/portals create [NAME] - Create a portal
/portals select [NAME] - Select a portal
/portals setPos - Set a position of the selected portal using /portalsel
/portals setExit - Set an exit for the selected portal where you are standing.
/portals setDest [PORTAL] [DESTPORTAL || WARP] - Set's portals destination to another portal or essentials warp.
/portals setCost [VALUE] - Set's how much a player has to pay when using a portal!
/portals listportals - Lists all existing portals.
/portals clearselection - Clears your current selection.
There are more commands than this, these are just the basic commands.
Permissions:
quantumgate.use - Allows you to run the commands of this plugin!
quantumgate.portal.[PORTALNAME] - Allows the player to use this portal!
quantumgate.portal.* - Allows player to enter all portals.
quantumgate.exemptcharge.[PORTAL] - Exempts player from the entrance fee of that portal.
quantumgate.exemptcharge.* - Exempts player from the entrance fee of all portals.
This plugin is outdated, portals didn't work.

Thanks a lot man, I don't suppose I can put those instructions in the plugin description? I'm bad at explaining things but that's awesome! : P
I just wanted to thank you for the portal plugin. I appreciate the plugin because it allows you to create portals regardless of axis. I can make my portal appear on the ground, or standing up. And to be crafty, you can make it appear as if a transport of some kind (ship, balloon, etc...) has transported the player across vast distances.
If for some reason any of you experience problems getting this to run, check to make sure your java is up to date (running perfectly on java 8).
For those having problems creating portals... instructions:
1. type /portalsel
2. right click and left click the player would enter (like a worldedit select).
3. type /portals create (name).
4. type /portals setPos.
5. stand where you want the player to exit (do not place exit inside the portal select) and type /portals setExit.
6. type /portalsel to exit the selection tool.
7. Repeat the above for the location to be teleported to.
8. type /portals setDest (nameofportal1) (nameofportal2)
9. If you want it to be a two way portal, type /portals setDest (nameofportal2) (nameofportal1).
10. That's it. You should now have two portals which are linked to one another, and you can freely enter on either side.
Update:
I did a little research, and our host has a patch that will allow the server itself to run on Java 8, rather than Java 7. I installed the patch, rebooted, and QuantumGate is running just fine now. Thank you again for the great plugin. Is there any way to add custom sounds and particle effects to the teleportation?
If anyone else is having problems getting this to load, try updated, or making sure, your server is running on Java 8.
I was able to get this running on a private server, but for some reason it will not run on our 1.9.2 server. It just does not load it. I downloaded the latest version btw, because I seen your message about the plugin having issues loading. I really like the plugin, because we can make the portal any size, shape, or axis. Most portal plugins require gates and such to be upright. I just wish I could get it to load up. Pastebin below of the error.

It almost seems like the server we are hosting on is running Java 7, rather than 8. You think perhaps this is the issue? Is QuantumGate coded for Java 8?
@Avilti
I see where the confusion is, I should change the command name. /portals setDest is the command to set which portal you want it to take you to, /portals setExit is the block the portal puts you on if you were to come out of it. (If that makes sense...)

@Latamier
Where is what going wrong? I feel as though the command: /portals setDest [PORTAL] [DESTPORTAL || WARP] is self explanatory. You set the destination for one portal to be another portal. E.G /portals setDest PortalA PortalB Both portals are made in the exact same way.
I need to get around to making a video tho.
@Avilti
Yea... I couldn't get it to do anything either...
Sorry I can't help ya.
Cats should put a vid on here or at least a step by step...
Ok so I select a cube with /portalsel and left/right clicking then i /portal create name then i go to destination and /portals setexit and when i walk in the zone to tp nothing happens. What am i doing wrong?
To all those who have downloaded today, if the plugin has failed, please try the newest build as I have fixed the most stupidest error which is now resolved. Thanks.
@Latamier
Firstly, quantumgate.portal.* will allow you to go through all the portals.
The selector is very similar to worldedit, type /portalsel, then you left click to set the first position, and right click to set the second.
There are no size restrictions on the portals.
Thanks for trying out my plugin! : P
I am just updating to 1.9 so I will give this a try...
Is there a way you can make an admin permission to go through all portals without having to have the portal name after them ?
and when you say it is like WE.. what do you use to select the corners ?
Is there any size restrictions on the portals ?
Thanks
I would be most grateful for any feedback from those who use this plugin! Thanks!
Sounds like a good plugin. I'll try it out on my server soon.
I have decided to rename "CustomPortals" to Quantum Teleport Gates, because I have recently found out there are plugins with similar names.
