PlayTag
This plugin allows you to play a game of tag within Minecraft! The plugin is very flexible and allows for a number of advanced fun features.
The plugin is still being developed, the following options are planned for a first stable release:
Commands
- /playtag start - Start a game of tag around your current position, you become the host of the match. When a game has already started, this command will let you join the game in progress at a random location in the playfield. However, you will not become the host.
- /playtag stop - Stop the game of tag in progress. Everyone will automatically quit the match. This command can only be used by server moderators and the host.
- /playtag quit - Quit the game in progress, you will return to where you were before joining the match. If you're the host, a player that's still in the match will be chosen as host at random.
Config.yml
The options in the config.yml file can be tweaked to provide a more balanced gameplay depending on what style of gameplay you want.
- RunTagged - Used to define if the tagged player can run. Default: True.
- RunOther - Defines if the players other than the tagged player can run (for running during the time-out, see RunOtherTimeout). Default: False.
- RunOtherTimeout - Defines if other players can run while the tagged player is in his time-out period. Default: True.
- Timeout - Defines the time-out period (in seconds). During the time-out period, the tagged player can't move or tag players within reach. Default: 10.
- Range - Defines the size of the play field (in blocks). When starting a match, a play field will be created at the host's starting position with the defined range. Default: 25.
