Platinum Build

Features

There are several 'build' modes, the main one being just "build mode", all other modes can only be activated in the main "build mode":

  • Fill Mode - Fill holes with the block in hand - automatically fills water and plant blocks as well
  • Wall Fill Mode - Make another layer of walls on the wall you click with the block you're holding
  • Overlay Mode - Overlay an adjacent horizontal layer with the block you're holding
  • Type Overlay Mode - Overlay an adjacent horizontal layer of the same type with the block you're holding
  • Replace Mode - Replace all adjacent blocks of the same type with the block you're holding

These are in addition to the interactive main "build mode"

  • Stone Shovel - Remove all adjacent blocks of the same type from a horizontal layer
  • Stone Axe - Remove tree blocks
  • Fire Block - Remove all adjacent blocks from a horizontal layer
  • Lava Block - Remove all adjacent blocks both horizontally and vertically
  • Nether Star - Undo your last change - this works with both the interactive changes as well as cmd changes

How to use edit COMMANDS:

  1. Select an area with a stick
  2. Type the command with the block id
  3. Type /Build Undo if you don't like the changes

How to use edit INTERACTIONS:

  1. Enter the main Build Mode by typing /Build (radius)
  2. From here you may use the tools for changing stuff including the stone shovel, and fire block, etc
  3. Type /Build <mode> to enter the respective mode for block interactions
    • While in these modes, you may not use tool interactions except the netherstar
    • Simply right click a block with the block you desire to use and it will do the given mode's action (for example, fill mode will fill a hole with sand if you right click inside a hole while holding a sand block)

No you cannot. I may add that in a future update but right now i have no desktop to code with.

Can i protect area's with this Plugin?

    @Lecrayen: Go

This includes a way to specify block data; like wood type, I will revise the mode system so none of them will overlap. The reason for this is so it will be easier to toggle your actions, and it will be easier to add new modes in the future. Setting radius will be a different command. I will also add a few new commands such as an area replace command. I will add a new tool to toggle your current mode, the reason for this is so you can quickly go between the interaction mode and being able to place blocks.

Haven't started implementing yet, so don't get all excited, but I'm planning on extensively improving usability.

Currently I haven't added this feature - I will possibly add it in another future version. The reason for this is because most people use worldedit anyways, I just added the /b set, /b walls, /b floor, /b cieling commands on the side, just in case. I also noticed that I spelled ceiling incorrectly, I will fix that and add an alias /b ceil in the future.

    Hi there

First: very nice plugin, good work, I love it ;)

But I have one problem: How can I use IDs with "additional information"? Like Cobblestone Slab (44:3) or Blue Wool (35:11). If I type i.e. '/build cieling 44:3' the answer is "Invalid block".

    Thank you

    Greetings Croco

    Any requests or issues?

I'm currently aware of the issue where you can only make a single selection. This issue will be fixed in version 1.2
