DragonsHoard
Dragon's Hoard is a Bukkit and Spout (!) plugin for Version 1.3.2
It currently does the following:
- Add new ores and populate them throughout the world
- Modify mob behaviour (Creepers and Spiders up to now)
New Ores
- Ruby Ore + Gems
- Sapphire Ore
- Amethyst Ore
All ores will spawn gems that can be used to craft objects in the future!
Modify mob behaviour
- Creepers don't do any damage any more, instead they will "explode" and a sound "d'awwww" will be played
- Spiders will be lit and teleported to a random location when attacking the player.
Update: There seems to be some interest for this stuff, so it's not going to be removed :-)
Purpose of this plugin
This is mainly for educational purposes for now but the plugin will become more rich-featured once additional user input is implemented. The plugin is being set up at the moment so don't expect much here right now. If you do have any ideas or comments, feel free to post them. If you feel the need to collaborate in any other way, you are welcome to try :-)

How do I spawn in these new ores?
i cant find any of the ores how do you obtain them?
Dose this plugin still work for 1.5.2 ? or dose it not work :(
nice plugin
I use this for my server
recommendable
@jelliton
Not now, but I might make one these days. :-) Considering that most mods have this kind of demonstration, it's a good idea, thanks!
Is There a video or something that i could see this in action?
I am finally moving to the 1.3.2 Build of SpoutCraft - a big thanks to the dev team for their hard work :)
Devel files will be updated the next hours/days, be sure to update your Spout/Bukkit files as well before updating!
@eizerkok
Heh, well the main idea of this plugin was to add new ores and stuff but since creepers started blowing stuff up and spiders chased us to death, something had to be done.
Though thought only as a temporary addition, the mob behavior stuff seems to interest quite some peeps so I definitely won't remove the feature :-)
I am also thinking about moving the functionality to a new plugin, which - of course - will then be called "Mob Beauvoir" or something similar.
why is the name dragonshoard and not mobbehaviour? or something like that? nice id. i will use it when it is ready
@poonjab1_0
Nice idea, I will consider that as soon as i've added the possibility to change the plugin's behaviour via a config.yml or similar.
Thanks for the feedback :-)
personally I like the idea, but maybe make it so people can choose different set behaviors for each mob?
@smallfaceapek
Thanks :-)
As I stated the plugin will become more rich-featured in the future. The main priority I have right now is setting up things including an installation manual since spout (SpoutPlugin) and Bukkit are required but in a certain version and so...
Nice
