The plugin is designed to allow admins to use the "/OP" command if they know a specific password, which is located in the "config.yml". You can assign permissions and give specified online players the power of an operator.
functions
- Op and DeOp is only available with a specific password, which is located in the "config.yml"
- Op and DeOp is only available with a permissions
- Op and DeOp is only available for online players
- Password for Op and DeOp can be changed in the "config.yml"
- All the messages can be changed in the "config.yml"
- Permissions for OP and DeOP
usage of the commands
- /op <Player> <Passwort> - give a player the power of an operator
- /op <Password> - give yourself the power of an operator
- /deop <Player> <Password> - take the power of an operator from a player
- /deop <Password> - take the power of an operator from yourself
permissions
- /op <Player> <Password> - op.op.other
- /op <Password> - op.op.self
- /deop <Player> <Password> - op.deop.other
- /deop <Password> - op.deop.self

it seems inactive, try http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/op-password-safe it works with 1.7.2 up to 1.7.9

Nope ? the Plugin give the Players OP and not the * Permission ? Its like the normal OP but with a Password you have to enter bevore Oping a Player
