StaffMode

StaffMode

Description

StaffMode is very useful to moderators that still want to play survival.

StaffMode separates the game from the moderation. Instead of allowing all commands to OPs, you can allow some of them only in "Staff" Mode. Furthermore, the inventory and position is saved, so when you are done rolling back a grief, you can get back to building in no time !

Features

Location saving

When getting back to normal mode, you'll get teleported to the position where you enabled op mode. No more writing down your coordinates before teleporting !

Gamemode separation

Staff Mode puts you in creative just when you need it, and back to the default gamemode when you're done OP'ing.

Inventory separation

You don't want to accidentally destroy your hard-earned items by accident, do you ? When enabling Staff Mode, your inventory is saved and ready to be given back to you once you're done.

Custom permissions

Chosse which permissions (and commands) you want to allow only in Staff Mode. This is useful to block yourself from doing mistakes, like teleporting while not in Staff Mode.

Automatic commands

Choose which commands when you start or stop Staff Mode. Do you want to vanish automatically ? Enable inspection mode of your favorite rollback plugin ? Or simply give yourself useful items ? You can !

Temporary name

You can add a prefix (or color) to your name to let the players know you're in Staff Mode and ready to help.

Commands

The only command this plugin adds is /staff. Any player that uses it (and has permission to) will toggle staff mode.

Permissions

staffmode.toggle is required to toggle Staff Mode. You can give custom Staff Modes to different groups of players, but by default the only group there is is 'op', and it requires the permission staffmode.group.op.

Configuration

This plugin should run without needing any configuration, but if you don't want all features, you can edit the config.yml file in the plugins/StaffMode folder to customize the way you want it to work. Every toggle is explained in the config.yml file.
