NoEscape
NoEscape
NoEscape allows for Server Ops to prevent players from escaping from various PvP, PvE, and PvM situations by restricting the use of commands for a while after being damaged.
Command
- /noescape reload
- Allows users to reload the configuration file. (default: op)
Permissions
- noescape.reload
- Allows users to reload the configuration file. (default: op)
- noescape.bypass
- Allows users to not be affected by the command restrictions (default: op)
Usage
Whenever a player takes damage, the plugin will take action automatically and block the user from making commands for the determined amount of time.
Installation and Configuration
To install NoEscape
- Download the .jar file
- Place the jar file in your "plugins" folder
- Start or reload your server. This will create a "NoEscape" folder in your plugins folder. This folder will contain a default config.yml file.
- Success!
To configure NoEscape
- Open the "NoEscape" folder inside your plugins folder and open the "config.yml" file.
- Read the comments in the file and fill in the items appropriately.
- Save the file and use the "/noescape reload" command.
The default config file can be viewed on GitHub.
Updating
I have implemented Gravity's Updater Script to make keeping the plugin up-to-date a breeze. Depending on your config, the plugin will either auto update itself, send a notice to the console, or nothing whenever the plugin starts.
Bugs
This plugin is still considered to be in beta due to lack of extensive testing, however it seems to work well. If you come across a bug, please submit a ticket here.
