    Set assumesprint to true, if it is set to false still, latest release has it on true by default: NoCheatPlus 3.10.9-RC-sMD5NET-b673

    Setting to "fixed", despite knowing that it's not fully fixed by that, also the workaround allows stuff that would not be allowed otherwise.

    The latest development build (660 +) contains a new feature to let NCP assume that the player is always sprinting when possible. It can be activated setting checks.moving.assumesprint to true in the configuration.

    Of course this allows some speeding without telling the server that one is sprinting, however it does not allow more. It still is not tested much, we could not even reproduce the issue yet, but it should be worth a try.

    I can't reproduce it with Spigot ~ 1242 - unfortunately i am unable to run latest CraftBukkit versions because those refuse to load a plugin of mine or another, because of "plugin already initialized", which i think must be something like an anti-compatibility feature of recent CraftBukkit builds coming up with 1.7.2.

    Are there any special side conditions to reproduce this, or just running + jumping?

    You can try to add some settings to the survivalfly section to make it playable.

    Try: walkingspeed: 150

    This allows 50 % more walking speed and might allow more (set it to 200 if that does not work) - all at the cost of allowing speeding by default.

    It seems to be a bug in CraftBukkit/Minecraft which gets to the surface because NCP has to rely on what the server reports about a players sprinting, The new ctrl-feature is broken concerning that. A vanilla server would not have this problem because the vanilla server does not check for (moderate) speeding.

    Nothing to do with CraftBukkit. I've personally removed NCP and tested it for hours, and it was fine. Put NCP back on, started happening.

    Problem seems to be that the events are not sent correctly on server-side, so this has to be fixed within CraftBukkit rather.

    Yes, that is the problem. I believe NoCheatPlus thinks the player is sprinting to quickly after being knocked out of sprint.

    We do need "ncp version" output and some indication that this is NCP at all, for which using "ncp info PLAYERNAME" before and after reproducing the issue is a useful tool, to see what actually changed in terms of violations.

    So what is the problem now? You get setbacks if you sprint using the new sprint button (CTRL)?
