MyBarrier is a new state of the art forcefield.
IT SUPPORTS ALL PERMISSIONS.
Basically the player who has MyBarrier creation permissions can place the barrier block (default is clay block) around a certain parameter. Once they do this, all they need to do is power the barrier block using any Redstone contraption they wish. When the redstone is on the barrier is on.
Another great feature is the user can add or remove certain users from their barrier, so certain people can cross!
Many more cool features soon to come!
The plugin is totally configurable too!
REQUIRES VAULT! Get it at: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/vault/
Current Permissions:
- mybarrier.create - Allows the user to create and use MyBarrier
Current Default Config:
- BarrierBlockID: 82 - Block id for the Barrier which this one is Clay.
- More SOON TO COME!
Again this is a great product for people wishing to give their donators special functions such as this.
Here is a very basic Redstone powered Barrier.

EDIT: I got it working, just re-installed it.
BUT DUDE!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH THIS PLUGIN IS GREAT! ITS THE ONLY ONE OUT THERE LIKE IT!! But i have only ONE HUGE thing i would really like you to add. Can you make the barrier down too? Because as of now you have it so its only up. is it possible to go down too? I made a giant halo ring around my city, and got it all nice, then discovered it only blocks people above the redstone.. so please try to make it down too? thanks man! reply if you can :P i love this plugin so muchhhh don't ever stop updating it!

That as well as access permissions would be great. One more feature, perhaps you could control the vertical height of the barrier so that passages etc going over or under the barrier aren't affected? That would be excellent. Other than that, excellent plugin, and I hope it keeps developing! :)

can you add it so that there is a perm like mybarrier.allow this will allow that person and or group to go through the barrier eg.
say i have default and citizen
and i give citizen the perm mybarrier.allow
and i do not give default it
citizen will be able to pass through the barrier but default will not

yourfunworld Mar 07, 2012 at 13:19 UTC - 0 likesI have now added a basic version of a Redstone powered Barrier!
When the redstone is on the Barrier is on, when the redstone is off the Barrier is off. The user can add and remove people's permissions from their own barriers.

I have added the default config. ;_)
We still have a ways to go for the config but it works for now. Also, the screenshot is coming in a moment.

jeremy1080 Mar 07, 2012 at 01:33 UTC - 0 likesI havnt tried it yet, but Ive ALWAYS wanted to see one that when someone gets close by to it that isnt allowed, it creates a barrier of glass so it almost looks like a real forcefield! :D
