Multiworld

79 - Better Portals

I realized that linking worlds via portals works just the same way as linking the world to the nether. This is a great feature, in most cases, but can their be a another option to enhance this?

Option

The way I view the option is simple. Can you please add another command argument to /mw link (or in the config) that allows you to choose the portal the player comes out of? It is really annoying when you leave on world, and then a new portal is generated someplace else as you go through.

So, if I were to choose which portal players come out of (when entering the world), I would type something like /mw link -c, while looking at a portal. That would set the portal the player is looking at for the world he / she is in. Now, if I were to enter that world, I would always end up where the portal is (if I went through a portal).

Notes

The -c at the end of the command is something I made up. It does not have to be that. If you want to know, -c stood for custom.

    @ferrybig: Go

    Thank you!

    Take your time. I made my own custom plugin to fulfill most of my wanted needs. Some of the things I said in the description were things I added to benefit others.

    @ferrybig: Go

    In simpler words, what I'm trying to say is that when a player goes through a portal, the /mw move <player> <world> [cords] command is initiated.

    Everything in <> is necessary, while everything in [] is optional.

    Do you mean linking portal1 in world1 to portal2 in world2?
