113 - Nether Portals Not Being Created/Spawns on top of Nether

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create Nether Portal
2. Get in
3. No Nether Portal created in nether, spawns on top of the bedrock.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected nether portal to be created, no portal and on top of bedrock.

What version of the product are you using?
4.4.3

What version of the craftbukkit/bukkit are you using?
1.4.7

Do you have an error log of what happened?
No

    portals on top of nether is reproduceable inside minecraft single player by portals above the y=127, edit, seems to be fixed at 1.5, will add a fix to the plugin too

    I can confirm in 1.5. Sometimes the players spawn on top of the nether, but usually are placed in blocks very close to the top bedrock layer and suffocate. No portals are created when entering the nether and so far with my testing has a 100% failure rate with every single player dying when entering (from suffocation). Only 1 player spawned on top of the nether and lived.

    Just did some testing and got these results:

    The Y co-ordinate is being taken from the world you traveled from. So if you create a portal above 128 (very common in my skyblock server) then you will spawn on top of the nether. So a check needs to be set for this, or do something like this:

    int playerY = (player().getLocation().getY()) / 2;

    And use that halved Y value instead. This should fix the issue, but it still does not fix the issue of no portals spawning upon nether entry or people suffocating. Not sure about the portal creation, but as for the suffocating, get the new location where the player enters the nether, check to see if that block == Material.AIR && (block + 1 in Y) == Material.AIR, if not then search around until you find an acceptable spot.....or just generate a portal and then the player shouldn't be stuck.
