About MV2

Multiverse was created at the dawn of Bukkit multiworld support. It has since then grown into a complete world management solution including special treatment of your nether worlds with Multiverse NetherPortals

In the second delivery of Multiverse, we've broken it up into several smaller plugins that are each feature packed but not bloated! Multiverse provides the easiest to use world management solution for your Minecraft server, big or small, and with great addons like Portals and NetherPortals, what's not to love!

Multiverse is back, and works for the latest server build! Is your server, a Multiverse?

What is an Awesome Build?

You can think of this like Bukkit's RB system, but we don't want to create confusion, so instead of calling ours a Recommended Build also, we're going with "Awesome Build" or AB. Awesome Builds are ones that we've put some more testing into, and should be very stable. Unfortunately, due to lack of developers able to work on the Multiverse suite, and the inability to achieve the normal Awesome Build quality level, we have discontinued our Awesome Builds until further notice. Our beta builds available on this site are fairly stable so don't disregard them!

Is Multiverse Missing that little something that you need?

Ask us! Or better yet, hop on our IRC (#multiverse) and tell us that you'd like to fork us and add a feature! You can of course do this without consulting us, but we cannot accept pull requests that will break Multiverse for the rest of our users! Don't go write your own World Management plugin, join the team and submit a pull request

The current state of Multiverse

The Multiverse project is currently suffering from a lack of developers. This means that updates will be *very* infrequent and generally only to fix critical bugs. If you are an experienced bukkit developer and have a desire to contribute to this well known plugin suite please come chat with me (dumptruckman) on irc!

Yes, that worked. Thank you very much. I had the config set to true, but missed the bit about setting the perm itself. It was all one question, i reread my post and realized i rambled on and asked the same thing twice. Anyway, thanks again!

essentials.back, however it needs to work for each world (either with permissionsex, or in essentials, something like denying access for certain things without the permission essentials.world.<world name>) What do you mean with multi world back? I'm guessing you mean using back in another world (which I answered above this)

I have a little problem that seems like it should be an easy fix, but its not working for me. I am using multiverse with permissionsex on tekkit classic. It works great, only thing is I cannot get the essentials /back command to work between worlds. Once in either world, it works fine, but it just says the player lacks perms for multi world /back. Any ideas what perm this would be?

For now, don't put the portal blocks inside, what it is doing is sending you through the nether portal but it's used as a normal one and it's teleporting you twice.

It works when I don't put the portal block inside, but this used to work before. What do you think I can do to fix it?

  • Avatar of TWSSYesterday TWSSYesterday Apr 05, 2014 at 19:39 UTC - 0 likes

    @alfonsojon: Go

You need to setup portals properly, what is happening: Your players are being teleported by the portal more than once because the area is too large, I cannot replicate this, works fine for me.

I'm having a problem with portals seeming to double teleport. Here's a video of the problem. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/54213557/Stream.mp4

No error logs, any help would be appreciated. I'm using the latest dev build, here's the "ver" output: CraftBukkit version git-Spigot-1.7.2-R0.3-122-gb58e277 (MC: 1.7.2) (Implementing API version 1.7.2-R0.4-SNAPSHOT)

    I cannot replicate this.

Any of them from 2.5-b641 (beta) but I recommend using latest working dev build.
