About MV2

Multiverse was created at the dawn of Bukkit multiworld support. It has since then grown into a complete world management solution including special treatment of your nether worlds with Multiverse NetherPortals

In the second delivery of Multiverse, we've broken it up into several smaller plugins that are each feature packed but not bloated! Multiverse provides the easiest to use world management solution for your Minecraft server, big or small, and with great addons like Portals and NetherPortals, what's not to love!

Multiverse is back, and works for the latest server build! Is your server, a Multiverse?

What is an Awesome Build?

You can think of this like Bukkit's RB system, but we don't want to create confusion, so instead of calling ours a Recommended Build also, we're going with "Awesome Build" or AB. Awesome Builds are ones that we've put some more testing into, and should be very stable. Unfortunately, due to lack of developers able to work on the Multiverse suite, and the inability to achieve the normal Awesome Build quality level, we have discontinued our Awesome Builds until further notice. Our beta builds available on this site are fairly stable so don't disregard them!

The current state of Multiverse

The Multiverse project is currently suffering from a lack of developers. This means that updates will be *very* infrequent and generally only to fix critical bugs. If you are an experienced bukkit developer and have a desire to contribute to this well known plugin suite please come chat with me (dumptruckman) on irc!

I am a bit confused and am hoping that this can help. I would like to be able to set my nether portals to send my players to a separate nether world instead of the default one, is this possible?

if you have 2 survival worlds and you make a nether portal in both would they link up or would it create 2 different nether worlds?

Hi there, Multiverse Adventure hasn't been worked on in a long while, and there isn't much documentation on it , that being said, advent-world core does a good job too.

Is there a Multiverse-Adventure forums? I stumbled upon Adventures on the Wiki and Dev site. It seemed like a perfect solution to make an adventure map server...so I made one around it. I was just about ready to release the 1st map and while doing a final run through with a buddy, it was to my surprise that the template disabled itself and our run-through of the map basically destroyed the map (the .template folder disappeared)

My question is about the enabling and disabling of an adventure world. Are there supposed to be any events where it disables itself or is it a bug? Or am I supposed to re-enabled it periodically somehow? If so, how does one preserve the original without doing scripted copy/replace from the server?
