Monster Apocalypse Version 17.0

Nerdpole

Break

Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.

Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.

Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!

PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.7.10 (any revision) for version 17.0. No other builds will work with this version.

Version 17.0 notes:

  • Updated to Minecraft 1.7.10.

Config

http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/

(Is partially updated)

You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:

http://jd.bukkit.org/doxygen/d6/d0e/enumorg_1_1bukkit_1_1Material.html

You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:

http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/

If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:

http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/

For Nightmare Mode, check here:

http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/

Need multiple configs?

How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:

  1. Copy the MA jar and rename it.
  2. Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
  3. Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
  4. Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.

You now have two separate installations.

Fear the Darkness: Adds an element of terror to dark areas of minecraft!

Simple Starvation: For when you really want to emphasize long term survival!

    Can you please add functionality for witches?

    I am sick of having to use external plugins to block witches spawning and dealing with Monster Apocalypse spamming me because it can't shove them all over my server.

    So, I am having trouble with this, I have no idea how to set this up, I need only zombies, pigs, and cows to spawn, I also need them to walk/run at normal paste, and I need them to spawn during the day. Can anyone help me? I am running CraftBukkit 1.7.10

    Ok. Thank you very much.

    @ZombladTheZombie: Go

    See the part that says "NoClassDefFoundError: org/bukkit/craftbukkit/v1_7_R3"? That means the plugin is trying to locate v1.7R3 of bukkit, which is 1.7.8. To fix this, you'd need to get your hands on a 1.7.8 or 1.7.9 build.

    Please, help me!!! Why mobs cant break blocks in version 16.1 on CB 1.7.5? And why they dont have mega agro anymore? Mob spawning works perfect, but they dont break blocks anymore and dont have mega agro! And I have tons of errors in the console. Or if this mod incompatible with CB 1.7.5, plese, make update on this version. That will be just awesome! And this is the error:

    @Icefang23: Go

    If it's 1.8.1 (which, it looks like it is judging by your errors), use MonsterApocalypse18.0.

    If you upgrade to 1.8.3, then use MonsterApocalypse18.1.

    I mean is it normal 1.8.1, or is it 1.8.3?
