Fish

As many of you know with the 1.7 update you are able to obtain enchanted items, books, or other stuff while fishing. I currently run a ExtraHardMode server and players were getting a huge advantage due to this so with the help of some people (@ct63960) who helped me write this. I will soon add more features to it which will be down below.

Features

Allows you to prevent the fishing up of items.
You can only get fish when fishing (Salmon, Pufferfish, clownfish, raw fish)
Messages to let you know IF you hooked an item (Says the fish got away)
Message when you catch a fish
Very lightweight on the server

Upcoming Features

Configurable messages when you pull in the rod
Economy support
Bypass so you can allow certain items being fished up
A command to allow you to get a fish as soon as you cast it into the water (Great donator perk)

Commands & Permissions

/fish - Toggles the ability to get items other than fish while fishing

Thank you for the info! Sorry for delayed response, studies has been busy with SAT coming up. I have just uploaded version 1.4 which fixes that, should be up by the time you see this if not you can play with the URL and get it!

Um, it should be working, try re-downloading it.

If that doesn't work, which it should, open the .jar with winrar or 7zip, and move the config.yml into a folder on your server called MonitorFishing.

Delete the "MonitorFishing" folder then restart the server. The config isn't generating as it thinks one is there.

As in the auto fishing mod from hacked clients? Or you want s feature which needs players to move around when fishing, you can't stand in the same spot for 5sec stuff?

EDIT:

I uploaded a new version, I double checked everything and it all checks out, I tried a different way of calling the config so that might fix it. I also added configurable messages for when you catch the fish. Version 1.3 is being reviewed right now.

If you are an old user, you will have to regenerate the config. Just delete the MonitorFishing folder and restart it. I added an option for sound yet I forgot to add an option to force add it to the config. Will be doing that in the next version which I will upload in a minute. If it regenerates it should work. The file can not be null is due to the fact it can't find the argument for sound as it was never created.

If that doesn't work you can either play with the website URL and get the version I just uploaded, or you can add the following into your config.

Config: Sound: true
