Replace

  1. Use /microtools replace or /mt 1. This will select the Replace mTool.
  2. Hold an item in your hand, such as a wood plank. Note: Using an item that cannot be placed may cause errors (for now).
  3. Destroy a block that you want to replace. The block that you destroyed should now become the block in your hand.

Fill Replace

  1. Use /microtools fillreplace or /mt 2. This will select the Fill Replace mTool.
  2. Hold an item in your hand, such as a pumpkin. Note: Using an item that cannot be placed may cause errors (for now).
  3. Destroy a block that you want to replace. This will start to replace the block you destroyed and all surrounding blocks of the same type with the block in your hand. Important: Destroying a block such as dirt or stone will start to replace the entire world with the item in hand! In addition, destroying a block with your hand will remove the blocks (set them to air). Since MicroTools does not do the Fill Replace mTool operations instantaneously, you can use /microtools stop to stop any operations in progress.

Air Place

  1. Use /microtools airplace or /mt 3. This will select the Air Place mTool.
  2. Hold an item in your hand, such as white wool. Note: Using an item that cannot be placed may cause errors (for now).
  3. Right-click while not looking at a block. This will make the block underneath you the block in your hand.

Column

  1. Use /microtools column or /mt 4. This will select the Column mTool.
  2. Place a block somewhere, such as cobblestone. This will create a column of the block you placed. The column will only go as high as the block above where you placed the block, and will only go as low as the block below where you placed the block. If no block is above the placed block, the pillar will extend to the max-building height. The same goes for if no block is below it: the pillar will extend to Y=0.

Platform

  1. Use /microtools platform or /mt 5. This will select the Platform mTool.
  2. Place a block somewhere, such as a redstone block. This will create a platform of the block you placed (that is, no Y-axis difference). The platform will keep going until it fills in the whole area. If a crack is left open somewhere, the platform will find its way through! Note: Blocks that are affected by gravity (sand, gravel, etc.) will not be able to be made into a platform unless a solid block is underneath it.

Layer

  1. Use /microtools layer or /mt 6. This will select the Layer mTool.
  2. Place a block somewhere, such as a diamond block. This will create a platform of the block you placed (that is, no Y-axis difference). The platform will keep going until it fills in the whole area, but will "stick" to the block that it was originally placed on. In other words, if you originally placed the diamond block on top of a stone block (or underneath), the platform, in the end, will only have stone blocks either underneath or above it.
