This an upcoming plugin that will revolutionise server administration.
OUR WEBSITE
Features
- Help fight against hack / mod users by having a database of reported players. When a user that has been reported logs on, It will display a message to all players with the permission [Coming soon] (mcsa.view.reported)
- Player panel that lets you befriend members, donate directly to Premium^ servers, view your stats (Blocks placed/broken and the most common, KD Ratio, Favorite server (Based on logins), McMMO, Factions, Towny and more!) Enemy players (When you login to a server and an enemy player logs on, It will flag that player to you)
- Server administration panel, Post your server on the public server list, View your server stats, View reported players, View stats for players (And servers such as Number of logins a day, Average amount of players, Econ, Kicks, Bans, Members online, Voice server integration with a widget on your server page and more! (Premium can associate BuyCraft and they can post in the Premium server list)
- Directly appeal bans (You simply fill out a quick form, then the server owner will review it)
^ Premium is available for servers for only $1.99 USD / £1.28 GBP per month. You have access to the Premium server list, and you can bump your server submission every 6 hours instead of 24. You will be able to associate your MCSA account with BuyCraft and you'll be able to set up a web store on the server page. Allowing members to donate directly through MCSA.
How it works
The plugin will integrate itself with the MCSA website, listing the data mentioned above in a list, And server admins can search for a user to see if they have any flags / reports, And the admins will be able to flag / report a player from the site and report them for,
- Using Mods,
- Excessive Profanity
- Spam
- Hate / flame / inappropriate content (Includes Racism / discrimination)
- Grief (If the server does not allow it)
- Using alternate accounts
It will also keep a database of the reported players, when a reported player logs on, any staff online with the correct permission will see that the user has been reported, For what reason, by who, what server and when (GMT). This will help server admins to chase down mod / hack users and keep their server a happy community.
If you would like to help in any way with this plugin, Or the web development, Please contact me, emericask8ur or Haribo98 via a ticket or on the BukkitDev forum.
We are not currently looking for developers for the plugin and web interface, however, we are looking for developers willing to be on the help desk. Basically what this means is, when we are set up and running, we will have a developer area (Help Desk) where users can submit tickets (with plugin related issues / suggestions) and online developers can help them. If you are interested, that's great. Please note: There will be no monetary compensation involved. your work is voluntary, and will be much appreciated.
At the moment, MCSA is currently halted in the lines of development due to Haribo98 now working for MCZone, We will hopefully have another developer working with us soon though. Sorry for the inconvenience. @Aleroh, It's supposed to. It sends block statistics to our VPS every 30 seconds to log the amount of places/breaks on the server. If this is causing lag on your server, let me know.
If I can get my Jenkins working, Ill get you a tab.
Any updates on this?
Sadly I have to disable your plugin as it sends stats to your website every...minute.
@wardtf
The first thing you mentioned is already planned, the second, if it was racist or could offend someone easily then you would take action, for example a ban, Maybe we could implement a profanity searcher, it automatically bans that person on your server and displays a message saying MCSA: Denied access due to profane username. Purchase a different account to gain access to this server. Regards,
make an option to ban (or at least notify staff) people who griefed multiple times something like:
"grieferdudenewbien00b123 has joined the server. Take care, he has been banned from the servers AbCraft and XyZcRaFt due to griefing."
i also like to see something for people with incorrect names (eg: motherfucker123) to ban them automatically, if they are banned on 1 server doesn't motivate them to change their username. If they are banned on 50, it does.
@mohawkguy360 Thanks :) And yes indeedy it is Bootstrap.
Not a bad idea. Nor a bad website. Bootstrap, right? :D
Site back online! Sorry about the downtime!
@busterguy
I didn't realise it was broken. I'll get to work on fixing it now.
We are migrating the website and all the data to a more powerful separate VPS. Temporary downtime.
@busterguy
We cannot provide a complete date on when it will be online and functioning completely. You can register your server and see your stats at the moment. More and more is being added every day. This project is huge.
How long till the website will be up?
The registration bug has now been repaired, sorry, we didn't notice until downloads went up but users didn't. Please do report bugs for both site and non site on the forums or use the Bukkit ticked system!
Please note!
The MCSA Project is still under HEAVY development and many features are still to be implemented. Please report any bugs in a ticket.
@mathpro
Now. :)
Data posting can't be seen at this current moment, shouldn't be long before that comes along on your servers MCSA website :D
Looking to release a stable alpha build (containing just stats) later today. Please wait until later today to register an MCSA account. Possibility of releasing a beta build (may be buggy) towards the end of today
Registration will be open for all servers very soon!
Due to a change of lead developer, MCSA's development progress has sped up dramatically. In fact, the plugin is looking good for it's first few tests very soon!
It appears there may be a delay in the release of Alpha 0.0.1. We are messing around with MySQL and have unfortunately broken it beyond repair. We are doing a clean install on the dedicated server. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
