Description
What is Lottery+? Lottery+ is a simple and powerful lottery plugin that makes lotteries easy to make and fun to play! Why should you choose my plugin verses others? Other plugins tend to limit you on options and your lotteries, whereas mine possesses limitless options! For instance these lotteries can have extensive options such as Towny support, Item economies, Item rewards, ect... To get started, follow my step-by-step tutorial. Hope you enjoy it!

- You can use '/lottery guic' to open a GUI to make the process easier to create your lotteries
- Supports Vault so you can tap into you server's local economy.
- You can attach a sign to a lottery so your users can use those instead of commands.
- Supports NuVotifier so you can rewards users for voting for your server.
- One of your users helped out with building something? You can rewards them tickets with '/lottery reward'
- One of your winners wasn't online during the drawing? No problem! Lottery+ will simply store their winnings in 'claims.yml' so that when he/she jumps on later they can simply use '/lottery claim'
- Your server not in fluent English? Or maybe you'd like the wording better on one of the messages? No biggie! Lottery+ pulls of it's messages from 'lang.properties'
- Want to do more than just have a pot on your lottery? You can also add all sorts of item rewards and you can even add a 'command reward' that dispatches through the console so that covers a lot of bases.
- Worried about players forgetting about lotteries? No problem. You can set in the config to remind players about them.
- Lottery+ also will check updates from time to time (set in config)
- Server restarting? No worries! Lottery+ will save and load your lotteries
- Fair warning: Lottery+ supports Java 1.8

How do I start creating lotteries?
You can start creating them by following my thorough step-by-step tutorial. There are also some videos you can watch.
Are lotteries saved after my server reloads or stops?
Yes. Lottery+ is constantly saving it's lotteries to ensure they are up to date.
Do I need to install any plugins for Lottery+?
No, you do not need any plugins. It is recommended that you have Vault if you want to use your server's economy. Lottery+ also supports Towny and Votifier.
Where can I donate?

Is there a way to edit the messages?
Yes. If look for a file called 'lang.properties', you can edit the messages in their.
Troubleshooting
Before reporting an error, please consider doing a complete reinstallation. If you have done this, please consider writing a ticket. Be sure to add your config.yml and lotteries.yml when writing your ticket (using pastebin is fine as well). Remember, the more bugs I squash, the better the plugin becomes!

Just made a quick compile for 1.12.2! Only made the few changes required to compile so LotteryPlus should still work just like the recent versions.. Been thinking about doing this for a while anyway because I can definitely understand that not every server wants to be on the most recent version. Going to upload tonight and hopefully they'll release it in the morning. Please let me know if everything works okay!

This this could be the cause of this? all the other commands so far work, but for some reason when creating a lottery it seems to fail. Only error i get when trying to use the /l load command is there is a [Server thread/INFO]: [LotteryPlus] - lottery.notfound.
Any ideas?
I did copy and past your version of the lotteries from the github and those seem to work. Think i got some learning to do. just so ya know the GUI doesnt seem to work at all. anything i add via the Gui is just blank space in the Lotto config file :(

Posted Jul 10, 2019Version 1.2 is out now! Finally switched to using player IDs instead of player names and added some other features. Unless there is a huge game-breaking bug with this update, this will likely be one of the last updates I do with this project. I want personally thank everyone who downloaded and helped support this project.

Posted Jan 29, 2017Hey everyone! Working on a new stable build that works with recent stable build from Towny, Vault, and updated from Votifier to NuVotifier. Seems to work so far but will likely be a beta build and will release a stable one based on feedback and response. Sorry I've been away so long! I've been working full-time but more I'm back to part-time and taking school so I'll have more time to keep up.

Posted Dec 14, 2014I'm doing a fairly large scale lotto for New Year's on my server, and players' tickets aren't being saved, just for that one lotto it seems. The money stays in the pot, but their tickets don't get added to the save file, and when the server restarts they don't have tickets anymore. Anyone know why that'd happen?

Posted Aug 25, 2014Reload, and Create work just fine on my server. I however don't have to use permissions to get it to work, OP is doing just fine using them. No errors, or odd messages. I am however running CraftBukkit not Spigot, despite being a much later build than this plugin was written for.. It is still functioning. And you also seem to forget that this was infact written for an earlier version. A much earlier version at that. You should've known you were taking a risk on an "outdated" plugin when you installed a mismatched version. And just because it hasn't updated, doesn't mean the developer has given up on it. Since it is working fine for me, I see no real need for it to update yet. (Welcome to Bukkit Dev, not Spigot Dev. That is also something you take chances on. Not every single plugin works 100% on Spigot)
Keep in mind that there are differences between Bukkit's and Spigots code, that can make plugins behave differently between the two.
This plugin is working fine on my server, even for a 1.7.10. So just because this Plugin isn't working on your server's setup, doesn't mean it's broken. (Gotta love it when someone assumes that because it's not working for him, it's broken.)

We have the same issue on my server as well and i have even tried adding the specific command perm lottery.admin.create that is specified in the plugin and it still fails. we have to do everything through the console

It seems that for some reasons a lot of commands such as the create, gui and reload command keep returning a false value for permissions and doesn't matter how you set them or what rank you are.
We are using Spigot and Groupmanager.
