Please Note: This only works with a LOCKED CHEST BLOCK, not a chest that has been locked with LWC or Lockette etc.
This plugin can do a variety of different things when a user right clicks a locked chest block. For example it can blow up with options to stop the land damage that an explosion creates while still giving player damage.
It can also drop items and send a notification to the player that has been pranked and alert the whole server, all this is completely configurable in the easy to use config file.
This plugin was requested here by @RaydarScan . It has been under development for a few weeks as I have been very busy. I really enjoyed creating this plugin and learned a lot from it.

Features
- Explosion (with configurable radius and damage to players and mobs.)
- Customizable message which will be sent privately to the user that has been pranked (fully configurable)
- Customizable announcement which is sent to all players on the server alerting users that someone has been pranked.
- Despawn chests when they are right clicked even if there is not explosion. (configurable)
- Stopped locked chests from despawning
- Strike lightning at the chest with an option for an "Effect Only" causing no player/land damage.
- Drop an item when pranked, (configurable)
Coming Soon (hopefully)
- Drop an infinite amount of customizable items instead of only one.
Bugs
- Locked Chests still despawn.

Posted Aug 2, 2013Well, iKeirNez's feature request was closed as Won't Fix back in November because "[t]hese blocks are all but removed from the game at this point, [and] they don't even render correctly anymore thanks to emeralds being added." With that said, the texture was changed again in 1.6—and I think it looks kinda neat—and implementing an event to allow plugin developers to prevent locked chests from decaying is actually a pretty simple task, so I went ahead and did it and sent in the requisite pull requests. So I'm not sure they'll reconsider, but hopefully they will now that I've done all the hard work for them :P
I've also made a plugin based on my new pull requests that just keeps locked chests from despawning, and I'll post it to BukkitDev if/when they accept the pull requests. Not to steal your thunder, iKeirNez, but because some people will only want to do that. I'll be sure to link to your plugin in the description, though.

Yeah, I'm not aware of anyway to fix this atm, I put in a feature request into bukkit but it hasn't been looked at yet I don't think.

I don't think so, I have tried myself but Bukkit haven't added a way to stop chests despawning. When they do though, I will update this.
