LeveledMobs is a Plugin that adds mob levels to your server. Mob levels are calculated based on the distance to the nearest location that is defined in the config, thus making it possible to start at Lvl 1 at all Citys, Spawns, etc, these mobs have increased health. Level and Health are displayed above the mobs head and will allways show the mbos current health. LeveledMobs furthermore implements some cool and niffty mechanics based on its level system, that are sure to bring awsomeness to any RPG server!

Version to be used!
At all times please use the Download link under the current version header to download the latest plugin version, the bukkit staff have a very hard job here so it might take them a few days to verifie the new versions, which means that maybe the version for download on the right isnt the latest!

LeveledMobs is very easy to setup, just drag and drop the jar into your servers plugin diretory and reload your server. Now before you do anything it is recommended that you issue the server commands /lm setup, to generate the config to customize some of the plugins values, and /lm refreshmobs, which will delete all mobs on the server. This is somewhat necessary as the server will throw exeptions if the mobs arent using the new names given by the plugin. This sadly is a necessary evil but is only needed of you change anything in the config.

For McMMO users
To be able to use this plugin with McMMO you will have to disable McMMOs mob healthbars. To do this simply go to your McMMO folder in the plugins folder, open the config, scroll to Mob_Healthbar and set it to disabled. You can then use McMMO together with this plugin! However if this does not work, do the following command ingame /mobhealth DISABLED, this should work 100% of the time.

There are currently two commands for LeveledMobs
- /lm refreshmobs deltes all mobs on the server to properly initialize the plugin without error
- /lm setup copys the default config to your plugin directory so you can customize your LeveledMobs Experience

- LeveledMobs.setup
Needed to issue the setup command
- LeveledMobs.refreshmobs
Needed for a full mob swipe to properly initiate the plugin

The config currently has two values you can edit, this will increase once i add more features which are planned. You can edit the distance from spawn it takes for mobs to increase in level, and you can change the amount of health that gets added per level.

Known Bugs
Heroes will overwrite health of mobs that dont use my lvl system

For Devs:
If you want to code something that hooks into my plugin, just set my plugin jar in the buildpath and import mainLeveledMobs.LeveledMobs. I have build in a hook that fetches the level of a given entity, just use getCreatureLevel(LivingEntity ent)!

A unique identifier
The server's version of Java
Whether the server is in offline or online mode
The plugin's version
The server's version
The OS version/name and architecture
The core count for the CPU
The number of players online
The Metrics version

    I have a suggestion for it :0

    How about the ability to set a level monsters can get certain potion effects? So you could specify like 1-15 zombies are normal, but anything 15+ and the zombies have a chance to poison you.

    or enderman a chance to blind, etc.

    Would add even more progression possibilities to your awesome plugin :D

    I odnt know how i do it, but im proud to announce full Legendary Weapon support, you can create as many Legendary weapons as you want with enchantments, lore and name, you can define what mobs drop it and what the drop chance is, what level they start dropping and what percentage this drop chance increases. I have to give myself a clap on the back for this.

    Just to rule out everything put RPG in [], im having some weird bugs aswell with bukkit atm, for example it broadcasts a number to the server event though i removed that line in the code, its really odd

    The only thing that could be happening is that your config isnt setup right, pastebin the current one and ill have a look. Might be something else ill take a look into it.

    Thanks, but there are 2 problems (I said about them before):

    • Not read correctly spawn place
    • Not add more health to high level mobs

    More damages to mobs are really cool.
