I've seen a few KillCount plugins around that do more than I want, and are just getting way to complex, I simply made this plugin to keep it simple, and not to mention make it MySQL :)

It will only affect current kc/kdrs if you are using SQLite, if you were using MySQL, then no it won't.

Only suggestion I have is being able to see where you stand on the highscores when you do /kc rather than only seeing the top 5. I know you can view your kdr and kc, but possibly make it show what rank you are when you do it. Also, will this update affect the current kc and kdrs?

I am currently in the process of re-writing the ENTIRE plugin, most of it is the exact same, just cleaner code, I am adding very little improvements and features to it, but if you have any suggestions, please let me know by making a comment, and I'll be sure to see about adding it during the re-development.

Posted Oct 16, 2012It's pretty simple and good. I'd only ask for two extra things: The ability to change the name of the table in the config file, and maybe a setting to log regardless of permissions (as if everyone had killcount.use). That second thing is... well, I just noticed it because I was testing locally without any permissions system, so I think it's pointless. So yeah, I'll be using it, but I think it would be great to be able to change the table name.

I know I know, mine were quite simple although. I feel you on the complex part, I hate complex plugins that have too much within it. If you don't mind me asking did you like the two ideas I threw in or too complex? It's okay if you don't hehe just curious so I can tell all my players that it won't be happening.
1. When you kill someone you get told you now have or gained "5 kills". 2. When you do /kc it tells you your rank.
