Jobs

9 - Task Idea - My Extension

What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?

-The tasks when completed could be like little side-quests, you could do them for a boost of xp but no extra money.

-They could be dispatched by npcs (other plugin support?), if npcs are not available they could be accessed by command.

-In the task config you could write up 10-20 possible tasks for each job and then using the command or by talking to an npc you could choose to take on the task given to you (randomly selected from the config list), you could only do a task every x amount of time and it would be one from the config set up by the owner of the server.

    I think it would be good to have something like this on my server

    @phrstbrn: Go

    sounds great, maybe you could have admin setup tasks too?

    every 24 hours you can do the task again?

    I thought about adding player driven "tasks" to Jobs, it's something that I want to do just haven't had time to sit down and flesh it out.

    Something where players can create a "task" (the tasker) with money and another player can "complete" the task (the taskee). For example, the tasker could create a task "Collect 10 logs for 500 coins." The taskee could take the job, and on completion, it would "transfer" the items to the tasker, and the taskee would receive the money and some bonus XP (something determined by the plugin). The "task" list would be some global list or something, bazaar style.
