ItemNerf
ItemNerf
Description
ItemNerf is a plugin that allows you to nerf specific item usage. Possible nerf options are completely blocking, adding a cooldown and/or charging currency for the usage of items. This plugin is not intended to nerf the usage of weapons, but is intended to nerf the usage or consumption of items such as enderpearls, golden apples, potions, block placement etc. You can choose per item (by listing its Data Value) how to nerf it. Charging currency makes use of Vault, which this plugin has a soft dependency for.

Update this?
@helptiger
It's working for me on the last 1.7.10 build of spigot
Please update for spigot 1.8.! Cooldown (Version 1.4) isn't working.
@killertudse
You can only use full seconds, so 2, not 2.5.
Plugin is not doing anything sadly. My config looks like this
GENERAL: default-cooldown-seconds: 10 display-charge-message: true NERFED_ITEM_IDS: 373-16421: COOLDOWN=2.5 373-16385: COOLDOWN=2.5 373-16417: COOLDOWN=2.5 373-16453: COOLDOWN=2.5 373-16460: COOLDOWN=2.5 373-16428: COOLDOWN=2.5 373-16388: COOLDOWN=2.5 373-16420: COOLDOWN=2.5 373-16452: COOLDOWN=2.5 373-16421: COOLDOWN=2.5 373-16449: COOLDOWN=2.5
But the commands are not working ingame /itemnerf reload just shows me the help commands
Really nice plugin! But now on spigot 1.7.9 (R3) or 1.7.10 the cooldown (Version 1.4) is no longer working. Please update!
Thank you so much dude! This is just the plugin I needed, and I been looking for over 2 hours now xD
@XZhyperX
Hmmmm... I'm not sure actually. Try and let me know? :D
Can this support modpack like hexxit?
@rayblon
Thanks for your feedback.
That's not the direction this plugin will be taking though.
Add potion effects when you use certain items. I.E if you throw a poison potion at someone, you receive weakness. Also, I'd like to see nerf chances like, instead of you definitely receiving weakness or being fined, you have a 30% chance of it happening. Also, can PvP/PvE/usage be classed so some item nerfs depend on the context? IE Throwing a harming pot at a spider has no penalty, but throwing it at a player does.
Gotta wait for the file to be approved ;)
It's taking a bit longer than usual.
i want this bad
This sounds awesome! Can't wait!
