Highway

With this plugin you can improve your speed with speed ways / roads / expressways (you can call it like you want).
If you get on a highway you get even faster than before without sneaking!

But if you want that the player has to sneak to get faster, you can set the option "invert" to true.

With our permissions and groupConfig.yml, you can give (up to 5 groups) additional speed.
This feature is really nice for "VIP" and upper groups like "Admin'.
Note that OP's have additional speed too!

You can choose between many options!
Like:
MessagePlayer: Everyone who gets on a highway will receive a customizable message which you can edit in the config.yml!
You can also enable economy, this means that players have to pay to use the highway!

If the player has not enough money, he/she won't get the speed boost and will receive a customizable not enough money message too.
And there are really many more features!

If you want to set your walkspeed than try this plugin: RunAway!

Features

Run faster on highways!

Give up to 5 special groups individual speed permissions to become more powerful and even faster!

OP's have their own speed group too!

Edit many things in the config.yml like walking speed, messages, etc.!

Edit the individual speed in the respective groups groupConfig.yml

You can easily set up / create a highway / speedway with an included area selection tool! Like WorldEdit :)

Fast speedway creations with the block selection tool.

You can enable the economy feature if you want the player have to pay for using the highways!

If there is a new version of highway you will get informed automatically!

Note that you can always disable this awesome feature if you don't want it!

Placing the blocks

1st row:
- Block of your choice (should not be air) klick here to see a block list!
2nd row:
- A block you can set up in the config.yml.
3rd row:
- A block you can set up in the config.yml.

Commands and Permissions

Please look at the Commands and Permissions page! :)

Help

If you have an error try to stop your server and delete the "config.yml" and the "groupConfig.yml" .

Than start your server again. If this doesn't help, you can post your ERROR in the Tickets - section and explain what isn't working. ;)

If you get a "major.minor" error, you have to update the java version to java7! :)

Planned Features / TODO's

- Add a command to easily create an eco highway.

- ~~Better stuck / unstuck command~~ -> Finished with v4.3

- Add horse support.

I have updated the plugin to the new Bukkit-Beta-Build and the new Vault version and fixed some other things too. ;)

I updated server from 1.7.2 R2 not 1.0 :) What you will tell me when R3 or next will be recommended build?

It would be better fix, what's wrong:

(I'm just novice in java, but it takes me about 10 minutes find it and fix it, so thanks for your time and support ;) )

Main problem:

Good god, why a Event Listener extends JavaPlugin?

fix:

public class BlockSelector //extends JavaPlugin

cosmetic problem:

in Main.createHighway function are called variables without initilization, specifically these: strt,z2,y2,x2,z1,y1,x1

I got same problem with "Plugin alredy initalized", it occurs during plugin enabling, then it looks like it works, but only looks (in /plugins), but truth is that it does nothing now. Speed change doesn't works on highway.

The plugin should work withour any problems with the mc version 1.7.4.

If you get this error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Plugin already initialized!, than you maybe use the newest bukkit version (1.7.2-R0.3).

Bukkit has changed something but this takes no affect on the plugin itself, you can still use the plugin with all functions.
And be sure I'm currently trying to fix this issue :)

Perhaps this is a spigot (craftbukkit equivalent) problem, but I was wondering why whenever I'm in survival I stop after about 3 seconds on a highway and turn to walking, but in creative it works fine. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Sounds like you have choosen the "none" effect type, try to choose "strong". If you have not choosen "none" write a ticket with your issue and a tighter definition of the problem + your config file. :)

Does this affect horses?

If not, is this feature planned?

Our server operates with rather large maps (8000 block circles) and while horses are faster than even sprinting, it's still rather slow if you got several thousand blocks to travel, and i'd like to phase out teleports, which currently isn't possible.

For some reason when I'm on a highway and start moving, when I let go of the move key I will continue to move for a pretty far distance. Is there a way to disable this?
