Features

Multiworld and Permissions Support
Configurable ban time (default is one week)
Commands for admins to ban,unban and get info on dead players (/hardcore)
Players are told what date and time they will be allowed back when they die and when they try to log back early.
The plugin logs every death along with level, exp, location and death message in csv format for easy exporting
Does not have the "dead players hog a login spot" issue.
Final Farewell: Admins can choose to allow players to live for a short time and chat and say goodbye
Sound and Fury: Admins can choose to allow a non damaging lightning and thunderclap will go off each time a player dies. Because it would be cool.
Will try and add requested features to the plugin

The event errors are because the old event handlers are still present, even though they've been updated to use the new system (in a different class).

Updated to load without these errors on at least 1.1-R4: https://github.com/mushroomhostage/Hardcore-Minecraft (warning: unofficial fork, not very well tested, compile yourself, use at your own risk, etc. - but further improvements/forks/patches/pull requests are welcome if anyone else wants to help out).

Came up with a cool feature this morning that I think would be awesome for the plugin. - Something like 'cant get the butcher back', where if you kill someone and ban them, you cant have them banned again after they rejoin for 5 minutes or whatever is specified. This would reduce the hassles of spawn killing.

And keep us updated man, haven't heard anything back from you for a while D:

Great work !!!, can you implement an option when you kill someone you would steal their life? there for if you die you get an other chance since you got an other life, and also add a cap to it to like 5 to 2 lifes to avoid people camping and such, if you could add a permission for this that way some groups get this benefit from killing and others dont.

Could you perhaps add a "life" feature where a user can get multiple lifes before being banned for the allotted time?

Are you running on 1.1 ?? The plugin wasn't working for me :/

Also, it rains because whenever someone dies a clap of thunder occurs, you can turn it off in the config. Its like 'thunderondeath: true' , change it to ' : false'

Love the plugin. Two small issues though.

Can you make it so beds work like in normal smp. As long as your bed hasn't been destroyed, it would be nice to be able to wake up in your bed after you you become unbanned.

Also, why does it rain like everywhere when someone dies. Rain is common enough as it is.

@labouche10 Im not the plugin developer, simply an avid tester.

I believe that this option is not included, and I doubt it will be. That would be quite complicated to include, it would mean hooking it in with worldedit or worldguard, probably not going to happen.

I suggest, if you are running a large amount of RAM for your server, and have some spare, create a new world with a multi world plugin, I suggest Multiverse, and dedicate that world to pvp.

You could limit the new world to 100 blocks even, and keep it as a natural landscape. Because the plugin is multi world capable, you can make it so people are not banned from the 'arena' world, but they are from your other world, through permissions. Simply have a portal which teleports players to the arena world, and when they die, they will not be banned, and they will be taken back to spawn.

Please note, using a multi world plugin uses a lot of RAM, only use this if you are running on a good amount, (4GB + ) and have some to spare.
