GroupManagerPromote

Use this plugin to create rank ladders for GroupManager. GroupManagerPromote allows admins to create rank ladders that were so popular with PermissionsEx, a functionality long absent from GroupManager. This fixes GroupManager's missing functionality to put it closer to par with other permission plugins. Once promotion ladders are created, players can be promoted or demoted to a different rank based on their current rank through the use of a command. It is easy to install and requires minimal configuration. This plugin was made so that staff can easily promote other players and for Buycraft integration all with the use of ladders.

Promotion ladders have never been easier.

Installation

Copy the .jar file into your plugins folder to install the plugin. Then restart the server or use a plugin manager to load the plugin.

Commands

The following commands are available for the plugin.

Command	Permission Node	Description
/manupromote <player> [ladder]	gmp.promote	Promote player using a ladder. Defaults to the "default" ladder if none specified.
/manudemote <player> [ladder]	gmp.demote	Demote player using a ladder. Defaults to the "default" ladder if none specified.
/gmp	gmp.admin	Relload the config files

Configuration

The following settings can be changed in the config.yml file.

promoteLadders - A section to map the promoted rank for each rank name ("before: after")
demoteLadders - A section to map the demoted rank for each rank name ("before: after")

I need help solving a problem with GroupManagerPromote. When someone buys a rank upgrade on Buycraft it says this on console "28.12 01:21:28 [Server] INFO No rank to switched player into. Check ladder config definitions for the rank SkyNoob. 28.12 01:21:19 [Server] INFO Error: The specified world does not exist. Specify a valid world."

First one is by doing this command: /manupromote {player} SkyKing world
The second one is where I didn't put a world

I need help very fast

Also it works in game if I do /manupromote {player}
I would use regular GroupManager for promoting but this plugin is better
Just need to solve this bug

You can use a payment plugin that executes a GroupManagerPromote command whenever the user pays the server.

Feature Suggestion: Add a config option to pay X amount ingame money for a rank. /rankup command to move you up the default tree or your permission node.

Doesn't work. I used the examples and i also used the ingame commands.

Is there a video or tutorial on how to use this?

someone make a showcase. i can't figure it out.

Group Manager is one of the plugins that should be on your server. You'll probably have a little sense of how to config, otherwise you you'll probably see a video. any small things that would make it easier Viller be they were to do little about the groups. but otherwise a really good plugins.

@Duke116 The JAR file is the one you download. Place the jar file in the /plugins folder.

The 1.7.2-R0.3 version shouldn't be too far off from 1.7.2-R0.2. However I recommend you get the latest one for bug fixes. If you load GroupManagerPRomote 1.3, what errors or missing functionality do you get?

Hey, so to create a ladder, do you configure it just like PEX in the permission file? or is ther a in game command that you can use? or does it just use inheiritances for the ladders?
