Grief Prevention

AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.

Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. welcome to the club, you're the 3rd person (including me) to ask about refilling chests :-D

sadly, it was just an example, it's not a feature of GriefPrevention and you'd need a separate plugin for that one

Great mod so far...definetly one that i'm glad i put into effect on my server. I do have a few questions though just as far as getting the functionality to work. I watched your video on your admin claims and I was wondering, how do you get the items to respawn in the chests? This is exactly what I want to try and set up on my server but I cant get the items to respawn. The other question I had was when a player joins the server they are given a set number of claim blocks, any way i can change how much they accrue at a given rate based on rank? Reason I ask is on my server, good behavior and playtime bump you in rank so giving more claim blocks would be kind of an extra incentive :P. Again awesome plugin, ty for the time both for making it and for reading this.

i can confirm the part @EstJoel said about the reconnecting after using the /restorenature. It seems that every time you /restorenature using a golden shovel you have to reconnect to see the changes but this happens to me on v2.5.1 and i won't be confirming the generating the wrong land because i haven't tried the v2.6 at this time.

Hmm... That was my first thought too, and it seems right, since it also generates land wrongly in places which weren't discovered yet. I tried /RestoreNature in a 1.2 map too (yes, my main map was generated in 1.1), but it seems to turn taigas into forests and plains into deserts, I haven't tried any other biomes, but I tested it in different parts of these. At a border of a taiga and plains, the generation was the same (in terms of the block placement), but the biomes changed as mentioned above. Another possible bug is that if I try to restore a chunk, I can see the diamond corners rightaway, but I need to reconnect to see any actual changes.

Sorry to hear it, Rowtag. :\ Try maybe precious stones or residence. It's fine by me if you wanna jump off a building, but you gotta use somebody else's building. :)

Thanks, but i hope there will come a Permissions for Fire Spread, cause sometime Firespread is good to have. (Realistic) If you use also logblock and worldguard, its not needed by this plugin to disable it. In some worlds i need fire spread :) It would be nice if you can add a config setting to enable it. Cause if this is not possible i have to look for another good antigrief plug but i like yours so much!

Hey guys some quick notes about this beta version.

    1. The siege cooldown is currently 1 minute for testing purposes.

    2. The "looting period" is only 30 seconds for now, again for testing.

    3. Yes, you can siege yourself. Real players wouldn't do that, but you might find it useful for some testing. (You'll never win!)

    4. If you /reload, all sieges are cancelled, cooldowns reset. Handy (for testing).

Ohh, i waited for about 15 minutes then i gave up and log-out for 30 minutes and when i log back in its still there. This only happens on redwood trees with or without snow on top. Also, only when its naturally generated by the whorl but if its grown from saplings it seems to be fine.
