Force-Field
Force-Fields
What does this plugin do?
This plugin makes invisible blocks have a knockback effect on the player, making an invisible wall that the player cannot get though.
You could use this in order to avoid using glass walls, that may ruin your landscape, or something like that. ;)
How does this plugin work?
It's quite simple. Make a wall with any block that you want, and then get your worldedit wand, and then replace that block with the block id 36.
For example, if you made the wall out of stone, you would select the area, and type "/ /replace 1 36."
After that, when a player tries to walk through that invisible barrier, they will be knocked back.
Permission nodes
There are only two permission nodes, as listed below.
This permission will allow you to walk though a forcefield.
• ForceField.bypass
This permission will allow you to break a forcefield.
• ForceField.break
One way force-fields
As of version 1.2 (currently awaiting approval) you can create one way force-fields. The way that it works is that, first, you will have to anable "oneWay" in the config, then you have to have a marker block one block before the force-field if you want it to block a player. Example, if you want to block a player with the force field, put a marker block down (Glowstone by default) so that they will have to walk from the glowstone into the force-field. If there is no marker block before the forcefield, the player will be able to move through the force-field.

If you would like to be awesome enough to support my developing, donations would be amazing. :)
Is it possible that you can have it when somebody hits the barrier they die?
all of your plugins are very cool!
make so its stops them
Can you please add a config for knockback range .. ? 1 got knockback passthrought wall sometimes ty.
@Mc9waystreet
I will look into that. Although I have a permissions system set so that if a player that does not have permission can't destroy the barrier by right clicking
Good job, but I just have one tip: Make the barrier ID 34:6 or 34:7 so that the block doesn't get destroyed when it gets right clicked.
@ElectricDragon3600
To allow specific players through the forcefield, give them the permission "ForceField.bypass"
Can you update/ make the same plugin but make it to where you can let only a certain rank into the area (like a prison server)?
Thanks
@nicopop
Yeah, I noticed that just after I uploaded v1.2. The knockback was set to stop players with speed 8, so as you can imagine, that would make it very OP. I will definitely make sure to fix this in version 1.3. In the meantime, once version 1.2 is approved, you can disable the knockback, and make the force-field act like an invisible wall instead. :)
@zaap01
yeah actuly alot of the players on my server tells me that they liked to get "blow"n away ;)
in the next version could you add a setting to change the force of the knockback of the forcefield becose right now its just ridiculous how mutch its powerfull
ps:srry if i made any error, english is not my first language(its french :D)
@Crafter213
In version 1.2 I have made it so that you can use custom blocks for the force-field. The issue that I haven't had time to deal with is the fact that you wouldn't be able to use full blocks (aka glass blocks) but rather, you can only use blocks that you can still enter, such as glass panes, iron bars, flowers, sugar cane, so on...
Also, I like the idea of adding the worldguard support, but I will just say, that this is only my second plugin, and I am still not that great at developing. It may be a bit difficult for me to hook into worldguard, but I'll see what I can do. :)
@AnAwesomeGuy
I have already done that in my latest version. It will be released in the next few days. :)
Please make the force-field on glass blocks configurable; Thanks! :) Would it be possible to use WorldGuard-Regions? Maybe regions could be used as force-fields?
@AnAwesomeGuy
xD "blow" ... that's really, making then blow without any advices, is not a good idea sometimes xD
can you add the option to just block the person and not blow them away?
@Frazzle99
The only way I could really think about getting that to work, is if you put a layer of a specific block one block in front of the force-field. Ex, if the plugin detected that the player walked from an area with a floor of Smooth Stone Bricks, and then into the force-field, it would allow them through, but on the other side, you have a floor of grass blocks, and that would block them from coming back in. Would that be sufficient for your needs?
@Crafter213
Sure, that will be very easy to add. I will see to it that I release that in the next few days.
Is there anyway you could add an option to make the force-field one way, a person walks through but can't walk back.
Could you please add the ability to choose the force-field-Block? In 1.8, we could use the barrier then; now we could maybe try glass ;)
