FireWorkLogin
FireWorkLogin
FireWorkLogin
Make logging in more fun with FireWorks!
What does it do?
Every player with the permission firework.login will be surprised with a randomly generated FireWork when they login! That means: random colours, random power random effects and random shapes.
You can also edit the initial delay for the fireworks in the config.yml (default is 0 ticks, which means there's no delay).
Anything else?
Nope! This plugin is as simple as it should be: you're done with a single permission node. If you have any suggestions though, you are free to post them in the comments!
Please note: you will need at least build #2565 for this plugin, otherwise it won't work! See dl.bukkit.org!
Also, there's a quick video about the plugin that you can watch over here! By @kayc01. :)
Just for sharing information with other people: this plugin is working properly with 1.7.2 and 1.7.5 version of Minecraft. Great plugin. Beautiful effects. Rprrr, thank you for your plugin. :)
That defeats the purpose of this plugin...
Maybe add an option for players to turn off fireworks? Like once they do /fireworksoff they don't get a firework when they log on, and they can turn them back on with /fireworkson perhaps?
@FreeJAC1310
You might want to add a space. Like so: "delayTicks: 1200".
Don't work only ops get firework on login and i place the permission in the permission file
Hi... I am using notepad to edit the config.yml and have set the delay to 120 or even 1200 and it doesn't seem to delay. delayTicks:1200
Is there something wrong with this syntax or am I not understanding how this delay works. thx for the help!
@kayc01
Thanks! Awesome. :) I put the link in the description.
Here you are: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zt8dNILHQg&feature=youtu.be Im still getting into the gist of Plugin reviews and forgot to mention about the permission node but i have put it in the description of the video! I hop you like it.
@kayc01
Please do. :) However, it's a really simple plugin, I don't it would be the most interesting review.. :P
@kayc01
Thanks! Glad you enjoy it.
Love this very simple and fun!
Hi, im thinking of doing a plugin review of this.. would you want me to link you it when it has done?
@cosalert
Thanks for the suggestion, I've uploaded a new file with that feature. :)
Dear creator thanks you for the plugin,but could you make a config file which delay the firework ?? Due to some player will lag when they logged in ,so they cant see the firework ,please and thanks
@semirotta
Well, you're obviously doing something wrong then, because I just tested it and it does work.
However, I fixed a bug that was blocking a certain shape from occuring - but I can't confirm the things you say.
This shitbird here has copied your plugin a bit.... TOO MUCH.... http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/fol/
:( i still downloaded YOUR plugin instead of this polish kid who copys other ppls plugins :D
EDIT:
never mind im going to download the other guys plugin because this one isnt even working. I got the perms on players , plugin is loaded -> nothing happens when they log in
@TobiasLA
Hi,
Please run build #2565 or higher. You're probably running an old beta build (#2561). Go to dl.bukkit.org to download a newer version.
Hello Rprrr
I get a error code on your plugin.
[FireWorkLogin] Disabling FireWorkLogin v1.0 2012-12-31 04:00:02 [INFO] [FireWorkLogin] FireWorkLogin by Rprrr has been disabled. Server - Could not pass event PlayerJoinEvent to FirewWorlLogin v1.0 Caused by: java.lang.illegal.argumentexeption: cannot spawn an entity for org.bukkit.entity.firework
you beat me to it :P I was gonna add something like this into my current plugin.
@Rprr [...] and awesome!
@wumpyc
Launches a random FireWork entity at the player's location. Pretty simple and lightweight.
