Information on Compatibility
Every time Bukkit or Factions updates the question is asked "is this compatible" - the answer is most likely YES. Bukkit gives plenty of time before making major changes to the code for developers to change their code to make it work with future builds.
FactionsPlus is currently made to support Factions 2.x. The only reason FactionsPlus would break at all is if they made a serious change like they did from 1.x to 2.x - so no, it's probably not broken. Which brings me to the next common question of 1.x support - there is some support, tested on 1.8.x - is version 0.5.3. However, Factions 1.8 hasn't been updated in over 10 months, and has lots of deprecated Bukkit code, it is going to break - not joking, it's going to break in future builds of Bukkit. Which is why I don't recommend using it.
I'm a busy person so it may take me time to respond to bugs and questions, however there has been a lot of love from the community to answer questions!
