What is EGG?
EGG (Extreme Grass Growing) is a minigame plugin that was heavily inspired by this post. You create an arena, claim a block, and hope that the grass reaches everyone else before it does you. You are literally watching grass grow. It's a great way to pass time.
This plugin also allows you to place bets on your square, adding your bet to a pool. Winner takes it all!

Tutorial
First of all, you need to create the EGG arena. Make sure you have the create permissions, and then place (by default) an emerald block. Stand on the block and run the /extremegg-create command. You can use any ID you want, but the radius must be an integer larger than 0. If all goes well, you will be left with an arena. The command run in this example was: /extremegg-create demo 3 After, have everyone playing find a block and type the /extremegg-join command. Make sure that the ID used in this command was the ID used in the previous command. Finally, run the /extremegg-start command and watch the magic happen.

@adventuretc
Custom grass spread has always been on the agenda, but I'll have to figure out how to do that first. With all my other projects, school, and other stuff in my life, I don't think that'll be done very quickly.
Immense.
You could add a custom grass spread system, having options for speed, custom algorithms, etc.
@fr233
