DonateLink
DonateLink is a really basic plugin that I made for my server that is really lightweight that allows you to simply execute the command /donate and receive a message in the chat to your donating page. This IS my first plugin, so it is obviously something that can be easily made, but I am not directing it towards plugin developers, but to the people who just got into the server making business. Thanks!
HOW TO INSTALL IT & USE IT
- Download the latest version, and drop the DonateLink into your plugins folder
- Restart or /reload your server for the plugin to be enabled
- A DonateLink folder will be made in your plugins folder and inside it, there will be a config.yml
- Edit it that with any text editor and you can can change to your liking. Save changes.
- Reload the config file by typing /DLReload (needs the permission node or OP)
- Type /donate and your message will pop up! Enjoy!
Commands:
- /Donate
- /DLReload
Permission Nodes:
- donatelink.use - Allows player to use the /donate command (They are allowed to by default)
- donatelink.reload - Reload the configuration file.

Features Planned:
- Allow color in the config.yml (couldn't figure it out myself)

The permission node to use /donate is set by default to allow any player to use it.

Posted Jul 18, 2013For color in the config.yml, just have users use &(code) in the string at the config.yml, then where you want to use it do this String url1 = (Get the config value for the donate URL); then have String url2 = ChatColor.translateAlternateColorCodes('&', url1); Send the user url2.

Posted Jul 18, 2013I ask that there is no perms for the /donate because if you own a 100 slot server like me oyu don't really want to go round adding perms to all your 20 classes.
