Ore alerter
Gives you an notice in the chat when player is mining ores.
- Added NEW type of messages please see screanshot at the images you can now see how many ores someone has mined and in their color.
- Upgraded log system to make better logs Example: "[su, 06-march-2016 22:43:34] diamond ore broken by UGxSynteX at [x: -64, y: 69, z: 265] in world"
- New log.txt file daily so you can easly search a log for a date example: "log 06-march-2016.txt"
- You can choose from how many ores you'll get a message example 3+ (3+ by default) you can change it in the config file
- Log system makes a daily txt file
- You can choose from when you want to get an alert (default by 3+)
- Counts how many ores a player has mined
- Log system can be turned on/off in the config file. Logs are saved in the plugin folder
- You can choose for which ores you'll get a message
- Only sends notice when player is mining diamond/emerald/gold/lapis/coal/iron ore and is in SURVIVAL because why you need an alert when someone is in creative?
- Sends a notice to only staff members! with the notify permission
- Protects your server from xRay if you get many alerts teleport to the player and check it out!
- dAlert.noty is the permission to get an alert when someone is mining diamonds (default added in op).

This is a project which doesn't earn me money. So i can only work on it in my free time. I am also busy with creating private plugins for servers and my work. I don't know when i start working at the update.

Posted Mar 7, 2016Ok glad you understand. The one right now didn't help that much because it chains off the ores it found earlier and still creates a large log for every ore broke. It will be much better if only 1 notification is given for the entire cluster of ores that are touching each other.

Posted Mar 6, 2016Cool I will give it a whirl. A bit confused on the ore alert set at 3+ ores. Isnt there a way to detect how many are in the cluster and alert that number? That is how other ore alerter plugins usually function. So it could say 2 dimaonds, or 10 diamonds, however many are touching together in that cluster. Then we would only need 1 notification for every group of ores found.

Sounds like good suggestions and great new featurs :D I'm going to work on the update right now! I would like to make the best ore alerter on whole bukkit and spigot so i will make your whishes come true.
And hopefully some people will support all my work by donation a little bit even 10 cent i would appriciate that but you don't have to i love to help :D

Posted Mar 6, 2016Good so far but it can get a bit spammy because the notification is for every single ore that is broken. it would be better if it just notified how many was in a vein like this:
Player just found 5 Diamond Ores!
Maybe also add color text to each notification that represents the color like Diamond is aqua, etc.
Lastly the log file needs some timestamps and coords added to the log. Like:
[Sun, 25-Jan-2015 14:47:11] diamond ore broken by Player at [x: 35, y: 12, z: -966] in World

Posted Mar 2, 2016I relied on FoundDiamonds and it is no longer working on 1.9 . I look towards your plugin to become a new replacement.
Could you add logging of Diamond ores to a .txt file? This helps us keep track of players when staff aren't online and we can review players who look suspicious.

Noty is just the short word for notify haha. And the player self doesn't get a notice only staff! I will add lapis,gold,emerald tomorrow which you can turn on and off in de config :D. I will also add a number ;)

Anyways, I have some suggestions:
- Add lapis, gold, and emeralds
- Don't announce it to the player who mined the ore
- Keep track of how many ores have been mined by a player and announce ore number, possibly sorted by ore type if you add the first suggestion
