Announcer [v1.5]

Announcer is a very simple plugin, which only does what's its name told us. It automatically sends a broadcast out of a list controlled by a schedule.

  • Sends Scheduled Broadcast to all Players
  • Easy to configure by 'config.yml' or ingame with the '/announce' or '/acc' command.
  • Supports chat colors and newlines with &n.
  • Supports executing commands inside Announcements. (Like "Now it will turn day!&n/time day")

This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to A unique identifier The server's version of Java Whether the server is in offline or online mode The plugin's version The server's version The OS version/name and architecture The core count for the CPU The number of players online The Metrics version Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

It also uses a updating system to check for updates. This is recommended so you can stay up to date with the plugin but is optional. In the config you can disable the auto update and check feature.

Hey Deckerzmc :D I'd absolutely love if you could revive this plugin even a little to 1.8. Although the plugin works great as is on 1.8.

Put the prefix in the config's messages that should be a temp fix.

Having a problem when using the '&n' for a new line. When I get a new line, the plugin displays another prefix before the newer line.

I'd like a way to toggle notifications on and off so that player can receive or not receive messages of Announcer.

I love this plugin. But I would like the option to create different tiers of announcements that can be displayed. Like I want to have the "messages" part of the config, but also be able to have a "commands", and maybe "special" types of announcements. Also would be great to be able to set the timeframe they can be displayed like the "message" options we can set already.

Yes, if you read the permission wiki. You will find your answer.

Is there a permission I can add to certain ranks in my perms file, to disable them from seeing announcements?
