If you're a Creeper lover, or love seeing your friends' houses get destroyed by the little devils, then you came to the right place! CreepersPlus is a plugin that adds new explosion types, no more plain old boring explosions. The tricks these Creepers know will make them more destructive/chaotic (and sometimes friendly) than ever before! Losing blocks is no longer the worst case scenario, time to start worrying about arrows, poison, and more!
The 4.1 update adds a lot of new config options! Visit the config.yml help page for more info on what they're used for.

Explosions
- Cookie Creepers - Replaces destroyed blocks with cookies!
- Arrow Creepers - Shoots up 1 arrow for every block destroyed!
- Poison Creepers - Poisons anything within 8 blocks of the explosion!
- Nuclear Creepers - HUGE explosions (seriously, they're really big)!
- Plant Creepers - Leaves a random plant behind!
- Lightning Creepers - Supercharge themselves!
- Defective Creepers - Don't do anything!
- Bedrock Creepers - Explode into bedrock!
- Storm Creepers - Start a storm when they explode!
- Generous Creepers - Return all of the blocks broken in the explosion!
- Experience Creepers - Explode into a shower of experience orbs!
- Lava Creepers - Creates a lava fountain when it explodes!
- Water Creepers - Creates a water fountain when it explodes!
- Obsidian Creepers - Explode into obsidian!
- Hunger Creepers - Starve players near the explosion!
- Cloning Creepers - Replace themselves with two more!
- Super Creepers - Kills everything near the explosion, no exceptions!
- Monster Creepers - Leave a random mob in their place!
- Teleport Creepers - Teleport nearby players to a random location!
- Speed Creepers - Add swiftness to nearby players!
- Precious Creepers - Leave a random gem and metal in their place!
- TNT Creepers - Replace themselves with active TNT!
- Bacon Creepers - Shower you in pork chops!
- Magic Creepers - Split into 5, but only one explodes! Uses ProtocolLib.
- Cube Creepers - Create a giant cube of a random block!
- Mining Creepers - Create a hole down to bedrock!
- Thief Creepers - Steals multiple stacks of items from a player's inventory!
All of these are configurable for your convenience!
Other Useful Stuff
- Update checker - You will be notified when you join a server if a new update is available!
- Disabling Worlds - You can choose 7 worlds to disable in the Config! (Don't waste any on the Nether or End)
- Choose your own chances - You can specify how often explosion types can happen!

Posted Jul 3, 2016It would be great if this plugin would start a timer every time a creeper explodes which leaves blocks, after which it would delete the blocks it left. We were using this plugin and it was awesome, but we started to notice cubes of random blocks appearing all over the place and it was a bit of an eyesore. Great plugin otherwise though.

Posted Dec 22, 2014Aaaaaaaand back again. Too much to do, not enough time. Apparently I broke the plugin last time I tried to update, so I'm gonna rewrite the whole thing. Don't expect any new features in the next update, but the plugin will hopefully be a bit more lightweight/faster.

Posted Feb 8, 2014Everyone: I'm so sorry I haven't updated this plugin in forever, but my interest in making plugins has been on and off over the last 8 months or so. I'm in the midst of working on the biggest update this plugin has, and probably will, ever see. It's taken far too long to get out though, and I'll work as fast as I can until I can get it out. Thanks for your patience, and again, I'm sorry for the wait.

Posted Aug 19, 2013Hi KrazyTraynz! There may be an obscure issue with 4.2.3 that we ran into. My players started to let me know that they were constantly getting hit with Poison III damage. I first noticed it happening with Baby Zombies, then Skeleton Arrows, and then escalated to even if a player hit another player with an empty hand... boom! Poison III damage.
I use several different plugins in addition to CreepersPlus... OtherZombies, WildBoars, Multiverse, Factions, TerrainControl, PermissionsEx, and a few others. I then began the "oh so fun" process of eliminating one plugin at a time. It wasn't until I removed CreepersPlus that the problem vanished.
The further test, I put CreepersPlus back again and the problem returned. And finally, I went to the config.yml and disabled the poison creeper option. Reset everything and the problem disappeared.
So thankfully I did not have to remove CreepersPlus and could just disable the Poison Creeper setting but it was definitely effecting entities beyond just creepers. Slap a player, give them Poison III, that got a lot of attention pretty quick! ;)

It completely removes the stacks from their inventory, but I will use the idea from your ticket to set what the can/can't steal, and how many stacks they can steal at once.

Posted Aug 3, 2013What exactly do you mean when you say thief creepers steal multiple stacks of items from the player's inventory? Do you mean that it just forces the player to drop them?
Also, I made my ticket. Just take it as a guide of how you can make these creeper types more flexible, not as something you're obligated to implement.

Posted Aug 2, 2013Hey, could you make a "Tickets" section? I have a whole slew of suggestions-most of which involve more configuration-and if I were to post them here as a comment, it would be offendingly long.
And yes, it's quite a list, but they're merely suggestions. I wish you not to feel overwhelmed by them in any way; feel free to take your time on them or not even implement any of them. I still appreciate your efforts in developing this plugin. :)
