Chat Rooms

CR [Chat Rooms]

About

Adding the CR plugin for your server is an excellent idea. The way it works is simple. In the normal chat, anyone can hear what you're saying, and if you're private messaging someone, or multiple people, you have to type extra characters. Chat Rooms creates an easier way to do that. You will be able to connect with multiple people and talk to them privately at once. Creating a chat room is quite simple, and switching back to the default chat room is even simpler.

THE CONFIG FILE MUST BE DELETED BEFORE UPDATING IF SPECIFIED

Version: 1.2.0

Future Plans

  • Give OP powers (or with permissions) to change a certain player's chatroom to something else
  • Give OP powers (or with permissions) to create permenant chat rooms
  • Give the choice to OP (or with permissions) between having the server's player's prefixes from the default chatroom in their chat rooms

I love the idea of this. On a economy server my friend is making, I plan to on multiple occasions make offices and meeting rooms. Problem is, this is 2 years out of date. If you could update this, I'd gladly tell my friend about it and get you another download :)

I would like to also suggest adding a timer to the chat rooms. Based on minutes.

Like if a player ask for help I can send them to our help chat room for 5 minutes with like /cr playername chatroom 5m

The reason for time limit is incase the staff member that is helping them gets disconnected or just forgets that they are in that chat room. They wouldn't be able to ask for help then if they didn't know the command to switch back to default chat.

Yeah, I'm going to add the option for the prefixes/suffixes to be shown. All of this can be found in the "Future Plans" section, and will all be in the next update, which might be by tomorrow afternoon.

Also I noticed when I was in a channel my PEX Tag didn't show up.

Anyway to let Prefix and Suffix stay in chat rooms?

    Like it support PermissionsEX.

Hmm I just noticed the chat color feature. I guess I could just use that.
