ConstantTime

ConstantTime

Description

ConstantTime is a plugin that allows you to manage the times of the in-game day of your worlds.

Why is a plugin like this necessary?

For various reasons. Maybe you want to keep things hardcore on your server, and have it constantly nighttime, so that players are constantly fighting off monsters and making your server a challenging and fun gameplay! Or possibly you want to keep things nice and simple, and calm, so you want your world to always be daytime. Perhaps you even want both in separate worlds. Or maybe, precisely why I made this plugin in the first place (originally for myself), you would like to have a zombie survival map on your server, and that darn daylight keeps burning your zombies!

The choice is yours.

Features

  • Multiple world time management
  • A configurable time span before which the plugin will update all the worlds' times.
  • A configurable setting to specify the in-game time ticks that the world will be set to. If you have no idea what Minecraft ticks are, they're little counters that occur twenty times in a second. If you want to set your world time to ten real minutes into the in-game day, that would be 600 real-life seconds. If you multiply that by 20, which would be 12000, you'll get the amount of in-game ticks to use for this setting in order to set the world to ten minutes after sunrise.
  • A "timingByDefault" setting in the config file, which determines whether a world needs its timer turned on with /ConstantTime Toggle <world>, or is always a certain time by default.
  • A handy reload command to restart all of your timers and reload the config, so you don't have to restart/reload the entire server.

Suggestions?

I have no idea what else a plugin like this needs. If you have a suggestion, leave it in the comments, and if I like it I'll add it to this list.
