The Issue
Players can use a hack known as 'Freecamming' or use lag to break a wall and quickly access a Chest/Crafting Table/Furnace without actually being able to see it. It's quite common on my server and very annoying. An example of these griefers & hackers: here.
The Solution
This plugin stops players from interacting with blocks they aren't looking at. It allows additional blocks to be added to the config if necessary, and you can add any blocks I've missed that are partially transparent (Or whatever you wish to call it).

Players with the permission node chestfix.notify will be notified whenever a player attempts to use an object they can't see.
Players with the permission node chestfix.bypass will be able to bypass this plugins protection.
It automatically protects:
- Chests
- Furnaces
- Cooking Furnaces
- Brewing Stands
- Dispensers
- JukeBoxes
And is configurable to protect more!

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but if you add an blockthat didn't exist in bukkit 1.4.7 to the config, it will still load the block in 1.7.x with no problems :S

Well the config does not work for all items due to the fact that it does not recognize the item because the plugin was built on 1.4.7 bukkit.

They can all actually be added in through the config I believe, but thanks for that anyway! :)
EDIT: And I think, at the time, the name Antifreecam was taken but the guy who made it was a java newbie so it was very broken :/

Posted May 9, 2014I updated this plugin to 1.7.9 with all the new blocks since 1.4.7. Carpets, Daylight Detector, rails, carpets, stairs, slabs, ect.
I renamed it to AntiFreeCam as I feel it's a better name. I do not take credit for any of the code, I just did the simple task of updating it and adding the new items.
If a staff could verify this safe, that would great. Thanks (: and enjoy the updated ChestFix

This is caused when hawkeye crashes or cant connect to the database. Just disable hawkeye support in the config.yml
