Table of Contents

Description: This plugin allows you to change the color, style, and type of the horse you are riding. You must be riding the horse you want to change, and you must have the appropriate permission if using a permissions system. /ChangeHorse is the command. Entering the command with no arguments will give you the available parameters. The characteristics available to change at the moment are the color of a normal horse, the type of horse, and the pattern or style of the horse if it is normal.

Note: /chs is an alternative for /ChangeHorse, t is a short argument for Type. c is short for Color, st is a short argument for Style, js is short for JumpStrength, and mh is short for MaxHealth.

Use: Tame your horse/donkey/mule, then while riding them use one of the above commands.

Metrics

This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:

A unique identifier
The server's version of Java
Whether the server is in offline or online mode
The plugin's version
The server's version
The OS version/name and architecture
The core count for the CPU
The number of players online
The Metrics version If you wish to disable this feature, you can do so by opt-ing out, which you can do in the config file under /plugins/PluginMetrics/

Auto-Updater

This plugin has a built-in auto-updater, which connects to BukkitDev to check for updates. If you, for some reason, wish to disable this process, you can disable just the update download by setting doUpdate to false in the plugins' configuration. Or you can disable the update checking and downloading all together by setting checkUpdate to false in the plugins' configuration

Can you add the below to your description for all the people who may not know how to get to the help?

/chs help - shows help menu

/chs set -shows settings menu

/chs type <value> can be: horse, donkey, mule, undead_horse, skeleton_horse

/chs color <value> can be: white, creamy, chestnut, brown, black, gray, darkbrown

/chs set style <value> can be: none, white, whitefield, white_dots, black_dots

/chs set jumpstrength <value> can be: 0-100

/chs set maxhealth <value> can be: 0-60

/chs set speed <value> can be: 0-100

Just updated to 1.7.2 beta build, please let me know if you find any errors. Also note that if you are still running minecraft 1.6.4, do not update to ChangeHorse v1.5.4, stay on 1.5.3

I would love to be able to use this plugin, but there seems to be a bug blocking my use of this amazing looking plugin. It keeps saying internal error every time i try to use anyone of the commands (cha and change horse). Ive been using 1.7.2 bukkit on my server, so could this be outdated?

Hi cool plugin, but i have made a server with horserace plus. And my econemy system is essentials. And i know a verry cool fueture for your plugin make ceonemy support so people can chance the horse if they have enough money and maybe if you can make it configurable that evry horse has another price. but bydeway a VERYY cool plugin Il hope you will read this and maybe can make it :D .

Yeah I'm having the same problem as the two below me. Every time I type in any variation of the commands (/chs or /changehorse), it says I must be riding a horse. I've tried it with and without a saddle, with and without tamed horses, and nothing has worked. I even re-downloaded the plugin to make sure I have the latest version but nothing. I think this is a minor problem that prevents the use of the plugin as a whole, but once fixed the plugin will probably be great. Thanks.

i have the same problem as futhead_ithomas. but it dose tis with every horse plugin i try. it will think some how im not o a horse. could this be a plugin conflict?

I get on the horse i have already tamed it but when i use this command it says you need to ride a horse to use this command why the command doesnt work please help me :(

Awesome plugin, just wondering if you can edit it a bit so we can also enter decimal values (eg. 50.5) for jumpstrength just like we can for speed.

I've tested adding armor to all types of horses, and the other horses (besides the normal one) don't have that slot. If I force it to have armor it removes the skin as well as the armor making it just a very glitchy, all white horse. As far as the jump strength, I noticed the horses will get hurt if the strength is set too high. I just kept the scale that bukkit implemented for the max and min strength. I should however be able to add an invincibility mode to a horse however. I'll try and add that this week. And the chests, if you make your horse a donkey you can add the chest, and then you should be able to change it back to the horse. The chest should stay attached, or at least it did with me in my testing.

This is an AWESOME plugin. I was trying to make a champion horse with max stats but that was impossibru! The ONLY problem I have found is that the horses take a great deal of fall damage when jumphieght is set very high. My favorite type of horse is the skeleton, so do you think you could make a way for them to wear armor OR just make an invincible mode for the horses, or just adjust the horses defense or something? Thanks!

I heared it's possible to add Chest to all type of Horse (through some NBT tag edit, which wouldn't crash the client). Would you consider to add this feature for the upcoming version? Also if there's a possibility to add/remove armors to all type of Horse (I honestly don't know if it's possible to add armors to all type of horses).

does it say anything in the about ChangeHorse? If there is nothing I would assume it somehow got in the wrong folder. Otherwise let me know what it says in the log.
