Now the arrow goes there, where you look! The arrow doesn't fall, it flys straight there where you want it!
Description
BowTravel is a plugin which allows you to travel with bows!
When you shoot an arrow, you are going to sit immediately on the flying arrow.
You firsteval need to toggle it on before you can use it!

Commands
Well, you just type one command to toggle it on:
- /bowtravel
Permissions
Before someone who isn't operator can use it, you need to give him/her the following permission:
- BowTravel.use

Posted Aug 23, 2014Would it be possible to have the player go into f1 mode automatically to give it a good look and so when the arrow hits its destination it does a slow rotation around the end location like how the moon rotates the Earth but at a customizable speed with a command like /bt rotate <speed> and a /bt rotate command to toggle the rotation?

Actually the other plugin has a problem with lots of errors in the config.
I think the bug with people stuck in block comes from the fact that you actually set players as Riding the arrow once launched. I don't think you can change the position of the player relative to the arrow while riding.
So that's why in my opinion what you could do is temporarily set players invulnerable when they ride the arrow, and then once they landed you do a teleport similar to "/!" from WorldEdit (open source, so you can check how it works: basically it teleports you just above the blocks you're stuck in, but not at the top of the map, just above). And after the teleport set player back to vulnerable.
This process is short to write IMO (especially because "invulnerable" is a NBT variable, and the teleport out of block is already written in another open source plugin you can take the code from to go faster), and will fix all the bugs you have.

Posted Mar 29, 2014Isn't that the same plugin as "BowLaunch" ?
The concept is good but would be better with non-gamemode enabled too.
About the bugs, I didn't test but due to the similarity with BowLaunch, I guess the following bugs may appear (and have to be tested): - People can get stuck in blocks - Various health-bug (arrow hitting the player and stopping the flight) when not in game mode (I believe this is the reason why you don't allow the command to be used in survival, an easy fix however is to give god mod to players traveling on arrows).
If you effectiveley forked from BowLaunch, consider putting at least the author of BowLaunch in the credits.
