Bouncy Sponge was a plugin I am making because I failed to find a "trampoline" plugin that would work for my server.

If there are any bugs please report them by using the "tickets" button to the right ==>

What It Does

What this plugin does is make sponges launch you up into the air and you won't take fall damage if you land on another sponge or lapis lazuli block. Also holding shift (Sneaking) will prevent the player from being launched

The permission node for this plugin is "bouncysponge.jump"

Note: Sneaking prevents you from being affected by the plugin (Forgot to document that (oops))

Please file a ticket

The source code for this plugin can be found HERE

This is my 1st plugin and I did not make it to get donations but if you want to donate you can by clicking HERE

This is a great survival challenge server and is my personal favourite server

At "/warp Bounce"

Planned features

A list of features can be found HERE ( )

Cool things you can do:

Place slabs or cake or any 1/2 block above the sponge or lapis and it will still work

Slabs in sponge

Make a "speed tunnel"

A few thoughts on the current state of the plugin:

    - Right now, I'm trying to figure a way to get Java and W/E to work with the aspect of the update. I'm trying to avoid rewriting the other listeners, but I'll most likely have to do this.

    - A database will be needed to keep track of which sponges were modified. I haven't done this yet, nor created a database before, so this will be a new aspect to both me and the plugin. The database will be in the .yml format.

    - The config will be kept, if I manage to avoid rewriting the other listeners.

    - With every release of Bukkit, I'll try to compile BouncySponge with the latest version

    - I've been very busy with school work for the past few months, but I'll try to work on the plugin A.S.A.P.

One way you could do it (I think) is using the permission node; Give players a negative node for worlds you don't want it to be used in?

Essentialsgroup manager add this line (You need to add spaces): - -bouncysponge.jump B Permissions add this line (You need to add spaces): - ^bouncysponge.jump

PerWorldPlugins? It turns out it causes problems for 1.7.X servers so I regret suggesting that. Anyway, you wanted to make it "per world" , so I suggested it. Since I'm almost done the WorldEdit part, it might be a while before it becomes "per world" independently. Keyword; "Might". I have to discuss it with adencraft_minecraft before it can become a planned feature.

If you still want it to be "per world" I suggest making a plugin that fulfills your plans, or find a different 3rd party plugin that could make it "per world". Plus, you can't get sponges without GM or mods.

Well, time to get back to class, lunch is almost over...

No no no, I mean the one you suggested, PerWorldPlugins. I was reading the comment section and the author seemed to indicate they were done.

Oh...? As in the one on EDIT: Appears to be working. If you have problems you can download Version 1.8 (Latest) here: Link Removed

EDIT: Apparently I can upload the file somewhere else so.... Here is the direct link through bukkit:

Unfortunately it looks like the author won't be updating that plugin. Glad to see you still working on this because even with the slime blocks incoming, I'd still prefer to use the sponge to bounce simply because it's extremely hard to miss. :)

Please vote, as it may help decide the release date of the W/E version of BouncySponge.

Yes, I'm still working on this. I just got a new computer and forgot to upload the W/E listener I had to GitHub. The old one had HDD failure and I couldn't get any data out of it. Anyway, if you need it "Per World" try PerWorldPlugins.

P.S. I also need to reinstall my IDE, JDK, make class paths, e.t.c. It would be about a week until I get to that since I'm still experimenting with this rig and just updated it to Windows 8.1 since the update was in the store. (My old computer wasn't Windows 8 and I didn't like 8 that much so I never bothered to buy a retail copy) First, I'll release a copy compiled with 1.7.2 next week. After, I'll try to work on the w/e part.

Not sure if you're still working on this, but was wondering if you might be able to make this available on certain worlds only? That way it doesn't conflict with other plugins. Thanks for this fun plugin! :)
