What is it?

BossBroadcaster is the easiest and most simple Boss Bar Broadcaster there is! It offers quite a bit of customization and with loads of features.

  • Color Codes
  • Player name support
  • Config to save your broadcasts
  • Help page
  • Very few commands

To setup BossBroadcaster, first you need to have permissions which are listed on the Commands & Perms page. The commands are also listed on the page as well.

BossBroadcaster requires BarAPI to function! You can find BarAPI here.

I've posted a new plugin (it was originally my update to this plugin, but it now uses the action bar instead of the bossbar) on the Spigot Forums that should fill the need for this plugin. Note: It requires 1.8!

1.8 seems to have broken the functionality that this plugin relies on... If Mojang fixes the bug, then I'll release an update to this plugin.

EDIT: I've found something that might work better with 1.8: Spigot Forums

I'm currently working on implementing multiple broadcasts, you could get a plugin that runs a command when a player joins for the first time and run  /bb broadcast Hello, %player%! 20"

This would require the upcoming version, which should be out in a week or two.

I wanted to use this plugin to display broadcast messages. When a player joins the server, i want to display a welcome message for like 20 seconds. I have it configured in the config file to do that but how do I put a timer on the broadcast in the config file? Right now the message stays up all the time.
